Many say they have been asked by the airline at departure. Myself being one. There is the answer to your question. You may be asked for onward flight. Enquire with your airline. Edit: I just now did a dry run booking throw away DMK to Saigon. 2100b. Took under 2 minutes to get to payment. Indeed step away and book flight a good plan B

Yes there are conflicting reports if agent will do extension with you having obtained Non O yourself. I went to trouble of contacting them couple of days back. Screenshot posted. Why not ring them or visit office for definitive answer.

You can but cheapest throw away ticket approx 2k baht. You can hope airline does not ask and if they do step away and use one of first 2 options. Obviously you would need internet.

imo You should avoid further advice from forum. You did a border bounce and exited Thailand without taking care of work permit. Currently on visa exempt entry. Mention agent can do something for 25k. Not clear exactly what that is. Frankly seems you have backed yourself into a (corner) situation. Starting numerous threads is not the solution.

Since money seasoned already you could apply for 12 month extension up to 45 days early.. When about to do that you could ask for doc list for CW extension.

Your clock will start day of application for extension. Confirm with io when you apply for extension

Your insurance company may not see it that way if involved in accident.

That was possible years ago. If you had read up in the motor forum you would be made aware that a certificate of residence is required. Also in many offices (CW one example) not available on day of application. Seems as usual just down to poor preparation.

Bottom line is your immigration office has told you that they will not issue you 60 day extension to visit wife. Move to another plan.

Love the joint. Just spent few weeks there over Xmas and NY. Had unusual experience of staying there for 8 months + when covid hit March 2020. Zero people there except for those that live on island during that time. Even closed to tourists. Some Chinese tour groups but they stick to certain areas. I think that I found the issue. Bit embarrassing. Looked at my last 3 transfers. Seems one of which I transferred from my Westpac app to WISE rather than the Wallet. I don't know why you didn't receive directions to set up Wallet. This specifically for Oz folk. What we now do is transfer funds from Oz bank account to individual (own account) held with Wise. If Udon Thani immigration stated they won't do it then they won't do it. Easy drive from Udon Thani to Nong Khai for border bounce. Be aware that they currently making you stay 1-2 nights. Consider minivan agent.

Clearly you have few things going on. Pity wife is unavailable as with a Non O marriage and ongoing extensions you are permitted to obtain work permit and work. Between rock and hard place springs to mind. Also remember that with a Non O (90 day stamp) you can also obtain 60 day extension to visit wife. That suggestion is just to buy time. Note for 60 day extension to visit wife she needs to attend immigration. (catch 22)

From memory you had issues obtaining a Non O marriage as wife working away from location of your immigration office. Seems you have two options. Obtain a Non O marriage from a visa exempt entry. If wife cannot be available then thinking that you would need to exit Thailand and obtain a Non B eVisa. Not sure if Laos would be a good option as eVisa has just been introduced and process time not confirmed.

Yes agents can do a TM30. For one you mention anyone can check it out by google "TM30io"

That's correct. Guess only thing to add is that a reentry permit takes half a page of pp so for me anything more than one exit I would obtain a multi..

Even read reports where bank staffer advice was just to bleed the account with ATM. My understanding is that when one person passes the account cannot be accessed. Others state that with death certificate the wife can access the account. Issue is you won't be here to sort it out. Also many using retirement money in bank but not married (me) I want bullet proof solution. Hence income method or agent.

Bit off topic however given all the nonsense with TM47 and TM30 of late esp with travel abroad I'm a poofteenth away from using an agent. Only mention that option as it also avoids funds being difficult to access for wife/partner.
