Thailand goes high-tech: New E-Visa set to transform travel
No. Read that article previously. I noticed one interesting thing. Actually 2. I won't read again and cut and paste. Firstly stated eVisa application available from "anywhere in the world". What about application while in Thailand. Also Kasikorn looking to provide online payment. Without that eVisa applied for in Laos useless.

Overstay: Where to surrender yourself?
What I posted was one supporting answer from AI. I very rarely post in threads those results. My previous posts were links to threads. The first step is absolutely make police report

Overstay: Where to surrender yourself?
Few incorrect (imo) posts in this thread regarding what to do if having lost pp and also on overstay. Step 1. You make a police report. Correct. Can you make a police report while on overstay. Answer Yes. Will your embassy require a police report to even start process to provide emergency travel document? Absolutely. The following is copy/paste from AI reply. Not convinced about point 5. Suggest with the EC and flight to Malaysia and 20k head to airport. "If you lose your Malaysian passport while overstaying in Thailand, you should: File a police report and get a copy Contact the Malaysian Embassy in Bangkok to: Inform them of the loss Apply for a verification of identity Bring the following documents: The police report, translated into English Proof of identity, such as an IC or driving license Two passport-sized photographs Undergo an interview with a Consular Officer to verify your nationality If you meet all the requirements, you will receive an Emergency Certificate (EC) to travel back to Malaysia Bring the EC to the Immigration Office for endorsement"

Bank Account Help
Where are you located. Immigration office? Obtaining a COR (certificate of residence would possibly help) It's a doc banks often insist on. An agent can assist (normally) however you mention remote location. Are you married at this point. OP, you asked same question July 2 and received good advice. Reason I asked about location is due to agent.

Has anyone managed to file the FIRST 90 day report online?
90 report should be possible after international travel and return using mail option. Note TM30 not required for mail report Note for CW folk..you need to post 15 days prior to due date

Overstay: Where to surrender yourself?
OP, some folk have given best advice. @Phillip9 one example. You have not indicated exact number of days on overstay. To some extent that is only related to length of ban. He will need to deal with embassy to obtain emergency travel document and as posted earlier he will need report of lost/stolen pp. Flights to Malaysia not to expensive so guessing 20k overstay fine + flight + expenses in Bangkok till he can obtain travel doc etc etc Would be 40-50k

Extending 60 day Visa Exempt and transfer to 90 day O - how many steps?
Foreign transfer required for application for the Non O in Thailand. For the extensions the transfers do not need to be shown as transfers from abroad. Down the track if you ever change from "money in bank' method to "income method" then note for income method (retirement) the transfers need to be shown coming from abroad

Can I do my 90-day report at Chamchuri?
That is correct. Your FIRST extension date counts as day 1. So you obtained extension Sept 29. Your starting date is September 29, 2024 so that means that 89 days later would be December 27, 2024. Attend CW prior to that date. Perhaps there are no appointments available prior to that date. You can report in person up to one week late and not receive a fine. Fine is 2000b
