  1. Good point. Some folk think that they need to obtain final stamp by certain date. No.
  2. I have read experienced guys post that immigration does it on purpose to drive us Aliens to use agents. Thinking they have a point. To be fair Thailand makes some rules foolishly. One example is TM30 rules which changed 2020. Not sure what 90 day reports achieve. etc etc.
  3. And when they make you return at 6 months to check 400k , you will trot along? For some folk their immigration office can be light aircraft flight. Push back against nonsense immigration offices. So we have Jomtien and SisaKet on the list. Samui is a rubbish immigration office they might play same game. I'm sure there is couple of others.
  4. I am Soooo much! My last extension retirement at CW they hit me up for bank statements as for some months I had no activity.. Bank book pages this time no good. Previous 9 extensions...no problem. I use dedicated bank account. Often no transactions in a month. Clearly no consolidated transactions. Absolute rubbish. My personal plan was to move to agent when old due to possible mobility issues. Might fast track that. They are poorly trained clerks.
  5. Seriously? With your history clearly you are aware of the game. As you pointed out...you still have one visa exempt entry available. Entry from Laos is preferable over eg Cambodia however this would be third at Nong Khai if you opt for that. Vientiane requires an appointment and overkill if you are leaving in May. Accommodation can be taken care of with site such as Agoda with free cancellation.
  6. On the date prescribed. You could contact immigration to see if it's ready early.
  7. All of which is just rubbish from that immigration office. Firstly you are not required to do 90 day reports in person and secondly you are not required to return back to immigration with bank book in hand and tail between legs. I have never read a report of anyone having a fail with annual extension due to not turning up to immigration 3 months after extention granted. BTW don't allow immigration to staple anything into your pp.
  8. Feel for you. Sometimes we have to slum it even when we are elite.
  9. OP...sounds like you are in Thailand. What do you actually have. You mention "visa run" ... If you have eg METV then you can just exit and reenter via land border or via air. Referred to as bounce. A visa run is to obtain new visa. Example tourist visa. What visa do you have. Don't say eVisa.
  10. No problem. Keep in mind that you need to keep a margin to account for exchange rate fluctuations.
  11. You don't have a visa . You have a permission of stay based on marriage. Your extension will start from end of current permit. You do not lose days. ... Having stated that... your OP is not clear. Perhaps you have a ME Non O marriage that you obtained in eg Savannakhet.
  12. OP, do one more visa exempt. You could consider purchase of "rent a ticket" . Not expensive. In case of any hassle you could show and explain your going back to own country.. Some borders with Cambodia were playing the "show flight out" rubbish.. Suggest Nong Khai if it's not too inconvenient
  13. 800k for Two months prior to application then maintain at that level for 3 months after application. Can be not less than 400k at other times.
  14. Your information is correct. Online window ends on due date. Only in person has grace period
  15. Thinking this is one where you would need to ask CM what are their specific requirements on bank book-less extension. Obviously bank statements. Along with the standard "bank letter" Surprised you didn't check with immigration prior to setting up the account.
  16. The guys above answered. How do you think you could apply for an extension without providing pp.
  17. Simple question. Previously when it was hit and miss did you used the "improved" system with link I posted above or the old online app and net link. @Mike Teavee your posts are good I'm not sure if the "grace period" cuts slack. In any event bit of storm in tea cup. Doubt very much if OP would have issue if just skipped it.
  18. Try again. Have you been able to do online previously. Make sure that you are using the link I provided above
  19. And I answered it stating.... "To address your question re grace period....that will not exclude you from missing report.".. In your other thread some posts have suggested online report. Is that an issue? Here is link to register and do ongoing 90 day reports. This is the improved online method.... https://tm47.immigration.go.th/tm47/#/register/add
  20. Don't be at all afraid to ask immigration officer on arrival if you can please have a visa exempt entry in lieu of stay according to your reentry permit. It's been done many times previously. It's not a big deal and don't be nervous about it. Worst case he says the standard Thai reply..."Can Not"
  21. You already have a thread ....https://aseannow.com/topic/1290584-late-for-90-day-report-leave-country-instead/ Then start another As suggested in the other thread. Do it online ...takes minutes. Do it via mail....takes little longer. Do it in person...that takes much longer. Skip it and just exit Thailand.. You have spent more time on AseanNow than just doing report online. To address your question re grace period....that will not exclude you from missing report. Up to You.
