Has anyone managed to file the FIRST 90 day report online?
90 report should be possible after international travel and return using mail option. Note TM30 not required for mail report Note for CW folk..you need to post 15 days prior to due date

Overstay: Where to surrender yourself?
OP, some folk have given best advice. @Phillip9 one example. You have not indicated exact number of days on overstay. To some extent that is only related to length of ban. He will need to deal with embassy to obtain emergency travel document and as posted earlier he will need report of lost/stolen pp. Flights to Malaysia not to expensive so guessing 20k overstay fine + flight + expenses in Bangkok till he can obtain travel doc etc etc Would be 40-50k

@ttkeric suggest when you start a thread stick around for at least short period to clarify questions from posters

Overstay: Where to surrender yourself?
You did not mention his passport country. Stated " We're Asians, so we blend into the scenery" Also mention in OP, the guy on overstay has no money.

Can I do my 90-day report at Chamchuri?
Thanks for report. This mirrors my experience Nov 5. No TM30 was asked for. She didn't even want the lease I had along with basic copies of pp..

If possible can you give report. Assume you didn't make appointment. What did you supply. How long did it take without appointment.

Here is link to one of the legal firms to advice on your question and possible follow up questions. https://www.siam-legal.com/Business-in-Thailand/thailand-work-permit.php#:~:text=Before you can apply or,in country close to Thailand. A snippet from link above.... "Before you can apply or be issued with a work permit you must have a non-immigrant visa first. This is required to apply for a Thai work permit in the Kingdom"

Extending 60 day Visa Exempt and transfer to 90 day O - how many steps?
Foreign transfer required for application for the Non O in Thailand. For the extensions the transfers do not need to be shown as transfers from abroad. Down the track if you ever change from "money in bank' method to "income method" then note for income method (retirement) the transfers need to be shown coming from abroad

Extending 60 day Visa Exempt and transfer to 90 day O - how many steps?
For the two months seasoning period you can withdraw/deposit funds as you wish, provided never below 800k

Can I do my 90-day report at Chamchuri?
That is correct. Your FIRST extension date counts as day 1. So you obtained extension Sept 29. Your starting date is September 29, 2024 so that means that 89 days later would be December 27, 2024. Attend CW prior to that date. Perhaps there are no appointments available prior to that date. You can report in person up to one week late and not receive a fine. Fine is 2000b

Can I do my 90-day report at Chamchuri?
Very true. OP, here is link for appointment. https://bangkok.immigration.go.th/en/onlineservice-and-publicguide/ Make sure you do hard copy of your appointment. Take your filled out TM47 form and printed appointment to far right que at CW. You will be seen straight away. Without appointment it's horrible.

Non-Immigrant O (Spouse/Dependent)
Lost track of what you required. If it's open bank account using agent in Pattaya it's 4500-5k

If you want to do your 90 report at Jomitien then you need change of address (TM30)

Border bounce at Nakhon Phanom - Thakhek
Should not be required. Assume you are doing the trip alone. Take some extra cash in case you get a squeeze for one night stay.

DTV visa extension
The "soft power" options are a joke. I can deal with the online remote work. Not so much 5 yr visa to lean to make Pad Thai or mess around in a gym. Will be interesting to see how agents in Thailand assisting with DTV in places such a as Savannakhet will change when eVisa starts 2025
