  1. Vague answer. Do you follow the financial requirements? Meaning 800k in Thai bank account in your name only 2 months prior to application for extension then maintained for 3 months after then not lower than 400k and back up to 800k prior to next application. Simple question.
  2. There are various services provided by agents throughout Thailand. That ranges from "hand holding" which is basically organizing documents etc. The client actually meets the financial requirements. Right through to agent service where client has no funds in Thai bank etc. The cheapest extensions without providing financials would be ~12-13k and that would be in Pattaya. In Bangkok closer to 15k+. Then someone using CM chimes in with 8k. Funny.
  3. Presumably no need to meet financial requirements however that will be more than 5900 extra. BTW your bank letter should be 100baht. Which bank charges 200b
  4. Yes. Also you do not need to exit Thailand. With that 30 day extension you can apply for a non O retirement with 800k in Thai bank account in your name only. Also need to show funds transferred from abroad. I assume it's the non O based on retirement that you are seeking. Do you have a Thai bank account? This thread has some basic info. There are many threads on this process. https://aseannow.com/topic/1282251-visa-exempt-to-non-o-retirement-dates/
  5. Think that you provided a TM30 screenshot from condo owner and a lease agreement. They may have accepted your copy of lease along with the TM30 however the lease in reality not required. There are some offices that might require a lease for a non O however you were just obtaining a 30 day extension.
  6. Keep in mind that you are applying for a 30day extension to a visa exempt entry. This is tourist type extensions and most tourists would not have a lease. A TM30 should be sufficient. You state that Jomtien required a rental agreement was required for a 30 day extension? Did you provide Jomtien with a TM30? BTW nothing surprises with both CM and Jomtien. Both rubbish offices.
  7. Don't understand your post. Sounds as though you exited Thailand and obtained a second visa exempt entry. 90 day reports are for continuous 90 day stay in Thailand. The TM30 screenshot is sufficient for your address. Along with TM7 form and photo Couple of the basic photocopies from your pp. ID page. Last entry stamp. TM6 if it was land border entry. As for obtaining a non O is that based on retirement? Have you organized bank account with 800k. CM require 21 days remaining on your current permission of stay to apply for non O
  8. Which immigration office. Why not using online for 90 day report if travel is difficult. Why would immigration want to see 800k in bank. Smells like Jomtien.
  9. There is however not accepted at some immigration offices.
  10. If you had stated the actual route and airlines from the start you would have received better advice So now finally both legs AirAsia. Which routes? Booked separately?
  11. "Fill your hand you son of a ......." Magnificent.
  12. True. Be aware that is only for reporting in person. Does not apply to online and mail in.
  13. Folk are always asked for boarding pass at immigration control. Has been the case forever. The fact that many people can't produce them due to whatever reason is overlooked by io.
  14. What type of non O? Visa exempt entry is 45 days until March 31. You don't apply for visa exemption. It's given on entry.
  15. Yes and as mentioned previously you can obtain extensions to each 90 day stamp..
  16. Happy to stand corrected. Thinking "notified period of stay" in the context of rule 2.2 refers to your permission of stay stamp. Not to be confused with " notification of address" (90 day report) So when someone exits Thailand and returns with reentry stamp their "notified period of stay" is protected and they do not need to file a TM30 if returning to their usual address. On the other hand if they returned on a new visa or visa exempt then they would need to file a TM30 even if returning to usual place of residence. There is no confusion with the intention of the change in rules June 2020. It was to do away with the need to file a TM30 for any trip out of province and also international travel for those expats living in Thailand.
  17. Added note. As already pointed out each entry (while the visa is still valid) gives you a 90 day stamp. If you wish to remain longer you can obtain an extension 30 days and also an extension 60 days to visit wife.
  18. He means obtaining a non O retirement from a visa exempt or tourist visa entry. That is applied for 15 days + prior to expiry and has an under consideration period. Here is thread from Nov last year. https://aseannow.com/topic/1278429-travel-out-of-country-whilst-retirement-stamp-is-under-consideration/
  19. Surely you would obtain a passport renewal immediately. Don't know about USA but Oz can pay express fee for quick turn around. June is quite some time away. Enough time to renew now? There is a recent thread regarding time for USA passport renewal. You can travel with both passports however it's a quick process to transfer stamps at immigration. This thread is Oct last year. https://aseannow.com/topic/1276059-us-passport-renewal-procedure/
  20. As has been pointed out already the answer is NO. Fly visa exempt and you will be stamped in for 45 days. Take note of @zzzzz post. Best to have an onward or return return to show airline at departure. Ask in the thread about this if confused.. Coming from UK for only 2 weeks? Try and get more time. Long expensive flight for couple of weeks.
  21. It's standard now for trips TO the airport.
  22. Yes you can however the amount of hassle may come down to the amount of time that you have spent in Thailand in recent times. Also the amount of time between visits. Outside your recent history in Thailand for better advice.
  23. Going from eg central plaza to airport is meter. That would hardly get to 100baht. The other way round is a fixed price.
