  1. For re-enter all that is required is Thailand Pass (very simple). You do not require covid test if fully vaccinated. Test and Go is thing of the past. You only require 10k covid insurance and 30 day cover. Some policies (while useless) are as little as 650b. Not suggesting that this is the way to go just pointing out that exit and reentry not difficult now.
  2. I did that for 6 months+ flying in and out of Thailand every month. Obviously best to go to immigration and transfer. At some point (prior to next extension) you will need to have Stamps and visa information transferred. Apart from immigration make sure you update your pp information with your bank.
  3. That's exactly correct. BKK airport and also DMK in the main. Since then we have basically had covid and what happens with folk that have been here last couple of years and now exit and reenter with a tourist visa is difficult to predict. Obviously obtain a tourist visa. How long to stay out is anyone's guess. You have the option of PE visa.
  4. Immigration staff where? You will be able to obtain a 30 day extension to visa exempt entry. You didn't consider marriage earlier? Seems you had some time in Thailand previously to do that easily.
  5. You have the option to obtain annual extensions retirement using money in bank method or income method OR use of agent. People make their own choice. Strangely some folk can't accept that even when it has zero to do with them.
  6. I'm the same. 10 years here and have never done a TM30. First ever extension retirement CW accepted my lease and TM30 has never been required. My first ever 90 day report was done during amnesty and again no TM30 required at MTT.
  7. Thanks for update. Good that you obtained the 60 extension to visit wife. To be fair to immigration seems your paperwork (eg 4 banks etc) is bit over the shop. Hopefully within the next 2 months you can obtain a ME non O marriage from Savannakhet or try and place 400k in back account and use money in bank method for the non O. Good luck
  8. Think as mention in thread by few posters.... When there is a divorce and chap has extension based on marriage the permission of stay ends, however in reality nothing would happen .......unless x wife made it an issue.
  9. Missing 90 day reports even multiple times is most likely a fine of 2k and has no further repercussions.
  10. Yes STOP. Covid extensions will not be an issue for you in the future. Some folk in Thailand had some issues with agent arranged non O volunteering. Covid extensions different kettle of fish You state remain in CM long term. You will need a plan for that. Won't be any issue with covid extensions.
  11. That's correct. Many folk asking about multiple entry non O marriage at Savannakhet. Think same as you they are waiting for a positive report. Must come soon you would think.
  12. FWIW...Thinking visa run is very poor second to obtaining a covid extension. TBH can't follow the reasoning. But as they say different strokes for different folks
  13. Please report back. There is more than just marriage certificate required for extension based on marriage. I have often wondered the shortest turn around time from marriage to obtaining an extension is possible.
  14. Non O marriage is often obtained outside of Thailand. Given you are exiting Thailand VERY soon, I suggest you reenter next time visa exempt. After entry and 30 day stamp you can apply straight away for non O marriage or retirement. The next step for extension is difficult as you require 2 months for the 800k to season prior to application for extension. You could buy a reentry permit to protect your 90 day permission of stay then when in Thailand and having satisfied the 2 month money in bank obtain an extension. I'm sure there must be a better way and expert such as @ubonjoe can help you. I have read reports of oil gas guys being advised to obtain visa rather than visa exempt ongoing.
  15. You require pretty much same as you provided for your current 30 day extension. Photocopies of identity page, TM6, entrance stamp. Stamp of previous visa (if any), TM7 form with photo and 1900 baht. They may also require TM30. You will also sign an affidavit. Some tick box 2 on that form. There are couple of rogue offices that were requiring applicants to provide letter from their embassy. Hua Hin being one. As usual 5k to an agent got around that. Hopefully CM do not. You should go asap. Here is link for affidavit. https://aseannow.com/applications/core/interface/file/attachment.php?id=727659
  16. You can only obtain non O-A in country where you are a citizen or permanent resident.. The non O based on retirement can be obtained in your home country or Thai consulates. It can also be obtained in Thailand after entry via visa exemption or tourist visa. Where are you currently and what type of visa are you after. Only some countries provide eVisa.
  17. OP, bit left field but might be good time (with permit ending) to rip the band-aid exit Thailand at a border crossing, kill off your non O-A and reenter visa exempt. Obtain non O retirement and subsequent extension. Bye bye insurance. Alternatively you could do a change address to office that is operating according to the rules and obtain extension there (messy)
  18. Good point. I'm too CW focussed. Some offices have their own requirements. @milldav be aware of what Todd outlined for CM you require 21 days. Good news is you now have 60 up your sleeve to obtain your non O
  19. Someone that deals with your office will be along. My first ever was at Mueang Thong Thani done when we had covid amnesty I had the standard copies from passport. Identity page, TM6, last entry stamp, previous visa. (Perhaps overkill but were taken) Had a copy of lease but was not taken. The io looked at my TM47 and asked if that's where I live. I said yes and that was it. I did not have a TM30 and was not asked for, however if you have receipt take it along.
  20. That is very true and as a result I gave up trying and used mail. Not so easy for trip to CW for me. In any event I finally gave the new system a go. Partly due to advice from ubonjoe. So there are now several threads (including current one) singing it's praises. Perhaps an option for your next time after this current one.
  21. No doubt you have good reason. Just bit left field. I was so anti online due to much mucking about with old system. I finally gave the new system a try. What an improvement. Works a treat. Note your first ever 90 report needs to be done in person so sometimes no choice.
  22. It's great that you received the covid extension, so not you can apply for the non O with 15+ days left on that permit and obtain your non O. The process has been explained above. Be aware that for the application for non O it needs to be shown that the money came from abroad. How did you import the 800k?
  23. OP, are you married to a Thai national? There are many ways to have ongoing 6 month stays each year.
  24. I'm just stating the rules. Think the OP in one post mentioned plan to remarry soon. "Nothing worse than scorn of a woman" Think I first asked situation with soon to be X wife. Initially not clear if OP was on extension or ME non O visa
