  1. METV "not honored" would require link to post stating that. Fast tract would not be necessarily helpful. Agents (some) in Thailand (Bangkok) provided assistance in this regard From memory 4k so expensive insurance.
  2. You have been chit chat with someone re SWIFT. The thread has references to WISE. I did one today at midday and yes in Thai bank account in short time. Just for others here is my transfer today as there have been some posts in other threads re time for transfer.
  3. Had another read of your OP. If you have extensions based on retirement and asking question about defacto wife it implies that she has not been to Thailand much? Perhaps suggest you spend time in both Germany and Thailand. There are other visa options for her for extended stay. One example would be METV which could provide up to 9 months stay. More details of your plans would give more advice/suggestions..
  4. OP exactly what visa do you have?
  5. 15+ days at most offices. CM 21 days Think Phuket is 15 business days
  6. Nice reply. Just thinking the Non O-X Would be worst option. Hope you sort out a good plan
  7. No idea what you on about. I use WISE. If I do a transfer using WISE in the early morning from Oz. Then the amount lands my Kasikorn at 2pm. If I do transfer pm then funds land am next day. Your Point? Nonsense post
  8. In my thinking your thread has been a joke. From start to finish. Some folk have posted options. Your options have been outlined h
  9. You can't use a multi entry permit too much. The io was just being a jerk..
  10. Yes and best option. Note it's a 60 day extension. Assume you are currently on a 12 month extension from a Non O based on marriage..
  11. Forgot to add re any new requirements. I have done last ten extensions using money in bank method at CW. My most recent extension (Nov last yr) they required my TM47 Receipt. They also were asking for bank statements as my bank book showed some months with zero entries. Has never been an issue previously. Also current thread running .re extension retirement CW and referring to need TM30. Seems bit hit and miss so probably good idea to provide one.
  12. Yes it is possible to make appointment at CW. Works a treat. Remember to take hard copy of confirmation email. Possible to do application up to 45 early at CW. 90 Day report works 15 days early and 7 days post for in person. Certificate of residence is done at CW. Most important thing is TM47. I also provide my lease and basic copies of pp pages. Here is appointment link. https://www.immigration.go.th/?page_id=20131 Note: It's also possible to make appointment for 90 day report. There are no appointments for certificate of residence. However here is nifty trick. You can obtain COR at the same time as doing the 90 report. The io will first do the TM47 photocopy it and then process the COR. Make sure you are early for appointments. They run like clockwork.
  13. You do not even require a visa. I notice it's only 2 month says you require. Also there would be 2 months between those visits when in France Dec and Jan. Just enter Thailand visa exempt each time and obtain an extension each time. 1900b . BTW : The non O-A option does not require you to obtain one per year. Each non O-A can provide almost 2 years..
  14. Think you mention you are 53. You have few options. One requires financial requirements That is a non O based on retirement and cut to chase requires money tied up in a Thai bank account in your name only. Another option is to obtain a multi entry non O retirement which is a visa valid for 12 months ..however requires border bounce every 90 days.. Seriously for annual stay of ony 4 months there are better options. At one extreme would be enter visa exempt and obtain extension. Followed by border bounce wish and repeat = 120 days. Many other options. For only 4 months imo non O is overkill. Non O-X is ridiculous
  15. In that case you have few options. Obtain a non O retirement with annual extensions OR. Obtain ME NON O based on retirement OR METV or other visa exempt with extensions+ border runs. Non O-X is ridiculous
  16. Ridiculous option. Many options better than non O-X Even moreso for annual stays in Thailand of 4 months.
  17. Indeed upon divorce he would need to exit Thailand.
  18. If you are looking for SETV then apply Vientiane...requires appointment If you want to obtain multi entry Non O (marriage) apply at Savannakhet. No appointment required.
  19. Depends how you returned to Thailand. If new visa or visa exempt then you need to file a TM30. Read the thread attachment in my post several posts back. It explains clearly the change in rules June 2020..
  20. You are correct in your first sentence. Many folk use a dedicated bank account for immigration purposes. I can understand immigration issue with MANY transactions in various months being "consolidated" On the other hand accounts with various months zero transactions being an issue is ludicrous. Just more rubbish from a stupid system. I love Thailand but seriously so many areas of immigration rules are a joke. Back to your post. All you need to do is make ONE transaction every month. For my next extension I will do the bank statements.
  21. Not to mention the added hurdles for those with Permanent Residency status. "Can of worms" good description.
