  1. When you register most people hit change password for a more personal one. You will notice no TM6 space for number. Not required. Be careful with the address. Needs to be same as what was used previously on the reports. After you have successfully done one....then in future after you fill in first fields (Name and Passport #) you dont need to fill in the rest. Hit magnifying glass icon and then rest of data such as address etc is filled in automatically. The system also sends out a reminder email 15 days prior to next due date. I always fill that in straight away. It's a bomb.
  2. Recall this asked previously. Pretty sure it needs to be printed by the bank. This is specific to Bangkok Bank.
  3. You should try the new online reporting. Works a treat. https://tm47.immigration.go.th/tm47/#/register/add
  4. That doesn't cut it The fact that if folk travel about and book into a hotel in another province and that hotel does a TM30 does not mean that the person can waltz into that local immigration office and do a 90 day report. They need use the TM30 as change of address. Then once back to where they actually live do another change of address. That would be crazy.
  5. That would only be possible if you do a change of address TM30. The OP would have required a TM30 or rental contract or...in order to have obtained his extension. If he now is in another province and wants to do 90 day report there he would need to do a change of address.
  6. Yes unless subsequent to your extension you have done a change of address. TM30. Using online or via mail the 90 day report can be done from anywhere in Thailand. No point for in person report unless fine needs to be paid.
  7. OP, you could do a border bounce if required. Inconvenient. I just completed an eVisa to Vietnam so I will certainly check the details when it's approved..
  8. Dont really follow the post. Yes you will receive a 12 month stamp for each entry while the non O-A is valid. So up to almost two years is possible. Insurance required for both years and reentry permit required for after the visa has expired if travel out and back required. What bit were you surprised about.
  9. Yes. Also ask landlord for screenshot of TM30 to take to immigration when you apply for your non O
  10. Up to you as the saying goes. Some folk obtain travel insurance and some not. Fact is it's not a requirement. personal choice. BTW the lady you refer to was a pillion involved in motor bike accident. Vast majority of travel insurance policies do not cover motor cycle accidents. Edit: my mistake about the person you refered to. You may recall young woman had spinal injury in Samui pool with a bar. Had insurance and the company refused. Said she was drunk.
  11. The OP has seen his papers handed in by agent and had photo taken. All is fine. Agent process very different to doing it yourself. The agent may wait till has certain number of passports to submit. Bit similar to waiting for minivan to fill. Also you were doing an extension. OP is applying for a non O
  12. Your home free. Now that you have mentioned that docs have been handed in there is no issue. Forget about your current permit expiry date. All under control.
  13. Easy to say don't worry but in this case thinking you are fine. Assuming agent has put your paperwork in there is an under consideration period and at that point the expiry of current permit doesn't come into play. You state that you provided everything means that you also met the financials. All good.
  14. There is no such thing as non O-A to non O conversion. Thinking you mean changed the reason for your extension from retirement to marriage. Very different.
  15. There is no such thing as non O-A to non O conversion. Thinking you mean changed the reason for your extension from retirement to marriage. Very different.
  16. Very unreasonable that they insisted on proof funds from overseas when it has been in Thai bank account for some years. Just being AH,s. The options you outline would work. Up to you what best suits. Depending if you have the funds to transfer from UK that would be simple option.
  17. For sure use a border run company from Pattaya to Cambodia.
  18. The OP stated "non formal" schools. He is looking for the usual scam and not a bona fide reason. Answer to the OP (joined same time as first post) ....yes possible for a year and comes at a cost.
  19. Given extension is based on marriage doubtful the OP would be using FD account as funds only need to be in account for 2 months prior + under consideration period. Some immigration officers like to see "activity" in the account on day of application for extension. Given the plan is to obtain bank letter on the day of application seems simple to make a deposit into account. The same clerk will do that.
  20. Easily done same day as application for extension. Suggest you attend bank and ask bank staff to make 100baht deposit along with provide bank letter also 100baht. Kindly ask clerk to photocopy this last page of bankbook and you can add that to the other pages that you have photocopied.
  21. You need to act quickly. Suggest contact an agent such as @ThaiVisaCentre They can assist with bank account. Since you have a non O already you are asking about assistance regarding 12 month extension. Cost would be approx 15k+ for the extension. Approx 5k for opening bank account. Since you already have a non O it is possible that Kasikorn bank would open a bank account without the need for a residence certificate.
  22. Obviously the PE elite visa was your best option. Think the 10 million (new property) real estate investment option still on the table. Is there a Thai bonds purchase also? You could consider a balance such as METV every year (9 months) in Thailand along with living in other locations such as Vietnam.
  23. Which immigration office? The correct answer is that no TM30 required and that would even be same answer if you spent a time out of Thailand. Some immigration offices have refused to acknowledge that the rules were changed 2019.
