  1. Your permit end of April is a positive. Hopefully a land border will be open by then. Would possibly still involve Thailand pass (one night hotel booking). Current thread about this.
  2. Be aware that in CR there are 2 immigration offices. As I understand it they do extensions on certain days. Yes you can obtain your extension no problem but best check with office if available every day.
  3. "Where you live" ? It can only be obtained in your own country or country where you have permanent resident status.
  4. You could choose to be across the requirements and submit the required documents. They are clear cut and simple. Granted it varies from office to office however easy for the willing.
  5. That would be great news. Covid extensions could become thing of the past and options for visas open up.
  6. I understand what your saying. I wouldn't recommend that if that's the only reason to exit Thailand and kill off the non O-A. Better would be to obtain one more extension and wait it out till land border entries possible and not onerous.
  7. The agent doesn't know what he is doing or there is a misunderstanding. He can obtain a non O retirement after he enters with his tourist visa. The agents will also obtain a 12 month extension. Non O-A has nothing to do with any of this. If your friend needs to exit and re-enter Thailand he can obtain reentry permit..
  8. Must be your own country or country where you have permanent residence.
  9. If CW is inconvenient obtain reentry permit at airport. Can't imagine why anyone would make trip to CW when the permit process at airport takes a few minutes..
  10. OP if married you can obtain extensions to your non O-A based on marriage and avoid the insurance requirement.
  11. I think it would just mean location where you do you test and hotel booking at approved hotels. Udon Thani is close to border. This would occur when land borders open. Just a guess
  12. You entered on TV. Did the agents you contacted give you a reason for no covid extension possible for you? @BKKTRAVELER this report from OP does not sound promising.
  13. Naive enough to get it done by someone paid sweet f. Came to the condo picked up what was required went to transport office or whatever returned put plates on. I didn't leave the room. I'm not the one that had issues.
  14. I purchased a car for the gf. The car registration lable was Nonthaburi. We live central Bangkok. She used an agent to do the running round which also included Bangkok number plates. No corruption about it.
  15. Yours (by the sound of it were not in order)... BTW your other comment regarding issue at BKK airport. I'm a frequent flyer...never had issue at airports in Thailand.
  16. Google recent threads regarding advice/recommendations. Start with this ...."agent recommendation Pattaya AseanNow". You will find the names of most agents and discussion of services on offer. You have the option to report a post if you feel it breaks forum rules.
  17. 9 times out of 10 the issue is with the person's paperwork. Strange how many have zero issues over many years.
  18. Was not aware that border was opened. Your unlucky ... rudeness and corruption at border crossing and immigration office. Your having a bad trot..
  19. Haven't read another thread regarding these difficulties at Hua Hin for extension marriage.
  20. In Saigon you apply for tourist visa am. You collect your pp next day AFTER 1pm. You would need to have print out of flight into Thailand. In Phnom Penh many use an agent. The process there can take days, however in current times in may take less.
  21. I changed the password that was issued no problem.
