My understanding is that VOA cannot be extended by 30 days however entry on a SETV granting 60 day stamp can be extended by 30 days for Indian nationals. The thing is if the tourist eVisa was rejected you could skip the trip. If approved you should not be refused entry. There are many threads regarding eVisa. You could start a thread you could ask for guidance. If you do it would be good idea to mention your country. Several threads regarding UK recently

Don't like your chances using visa exempt entry. Does your country offer eVisa for Thailand (tourist visa)

You do not need to that using a FD account for CW immigration.

So how many months from last exit from Thailand will it be till next entry Mid September.

You did not overstay. You should have exited Thailand on or before Aug 6. IMO ....thinking you will not be given a second tourist visa at Vientiane. On the positive side another poster with extensive history was refused at Savannakhet and subsequently obtained a TV at Vientiane.

You are very confused. The "60 day to visit wife" is a 60 day extension Your friend could do a border bounce and enter visa exempt and be given a 30 stamp and that can be extended by 60 to visit wife. He could do that twice per calendar year. So 30+60 and repeat= 180days. A better option (depending on how long he wants to stay) is posted by @aluc above

He would be referring to "bank letter" As posted earlier I use two accounts an FD and a savings. My most recent extension was Nov last year. I provided photocopies of the pages of both accounts Immigration clerk had issue with my savings account. Then spoke with supervisor. She explained that my savings account and some months had zero transactions. I use dedicated accounts for immigration. The point is to your earlier question they were not interested in my FD account so thinking all you require is photocopies of pages of FD account. And yes this is New. Previously I just provided copies of bank book pages and many months had no entries. For those using savings account the Bank Statement would be 12 months. Yesterday Kasikorn told me they can do it on the day 200baht

OP, ....some months back there was a report of some guy sent his elderly mother to KL and back same day for visa exempt entry. Online is 15 days prior up to due date.. the 7 day prior for online was changed . In person is 15 prior and up to 7 days after.

Assume you are referring to Jomtien requiring you to come back to immigration 3 months after extension. Ignore it. That is a rubbish game from Jomtien. They can check it at your next extension.

Can be done online. After autofill change your entry date.

Above answer correct. You can go tomorrow and take screenshot of the page where it shows "status"...in your case it will state "pending" and also date when you lodged it. The online that you already made at some stage most likely show "rejected"

For years I used dedicated account for the 800k extension based on retirement at CW. All immigration required was photocopies of my bank book pages. Last year they told me that due to some months of zero entries they require bank statements. I asked to see supervisor. She accepted the application after some polite chit chat. Then was asked to write on my paper work that next year I would provide bank Statements. Edit: the above is regarding savings account. I actually have a FD (600k) and a savings account (200k+) They did not require bank Statements for the FD account. BTW: This was the first time ever that they wanted my TM47 receipt. They make up rubbish as they go along
