  1. That's because it doesn't. You are correct. The link I posted above for online report has zero uploads. However now that OP filed report in Burriram (lives in Bangkok) he will need to file TM30 at CW and then can use online.
  2. In that case you didn't even need to deal with Burriram immigration. You could have done your 90 day report to Bangkok immigration online. Now you will need to do another TM30 when you return to Bangkok. Be aware that you can file your TM47 using your Bangkok address from anywhere in Thailand either online or via mail. Guessing your wife doesn't know that. Here is link for online filing of 90 day report. Note that since you did a TM30 at Burriram you will need to do another at CW before you can use it. https://tm47.immigration.go.th/tm47/#/login
  3. Pretty much sums up your thread. You have the wife take care of everything and not even remotely aware of the requirements to live in Thailand. TM30 being one example. .... "If that burden is ever placed on me, I’ll gladly leave Thailand. No problemo." .... Sums it up.
  4. Seems a 90 day TM47 is not required at Phuket for residence certificate. That's good. That is only required if you spend more than 90 consecutive days in Thailand. The TM30 also reports your address in Thailand. Often never required if you have nothing to attend immigration for. Suggest that you will need a TM30 filed in order to obtain your residence certificate.
  5. OP, In the past I have traveled for months with both passports (expired and new) throughout Thailand and overseas with zero issues.
  6. You need to do 90 day report if staying in Thailand for 90 consecutive days. Every time you exit your 90 day clock starts again on reentry date. As for reentry permit yes you need to purchase at immigration or airport at departure. That's a TM8 form. 1000b single reentry and 3800b multiple
  7. The TM30 is for change of address. You changed your address and did not file a TM30. As stated earlier you were so lucky with the helpful treatment you received at Burriram. Most offices would have not been so helpful. Your swipe at CW is not required as you are not aware of the requirements.
  8. Good you started more specific thread. To kick it off .... Immigration upon arrival will NOT ask to see onward flight. Regards luggage that would not be issue if you decide to book throw away ticket. As for the first part of your questions. Wait for reply from someone who has actually obtained the evisa. My guess it your onward flight from "rent onward ticket" companies would pass.
  9. Here is just one grab from that thread.... "Hi Andreas They did not ask for that, just a copy of the receipt address notification"... That normally refers to 90 day report. Clearly others were not asked for that. TM30 was mentioned. In any event move on.
  10. Folk on extensions from a non O have permission of stay. In the case of non O marriage and retirement that is 12 month permit. Nothing permanent about it. Yes there is a pathway to Thai citizenship (if you satisfy other requirements) however for those on extensions is a year by year gig.
  11. OP, first step might be to check available appointment times. Read a report recently that it was well in advance. My preferred option would be Saigon but if timing becomes an issue Savannakhet might be an alternative as I understand it's still walk in available.
  12. OP, here is a thread specific to Phuket. I notice one post requiring a 90 day address report and another stating that's not required.
  13. You were very lucky. Not even required to file a TM30 change of address? No surprise that you had issues at CW. Which would be down to you and not the immigration office.
  14. Maybe that's flippant. Certainly would not work at most immigration offices. In any event OP....for a residence certificate immigration offices vary. For example in Bangkok you could not obtain one without filing a 90 day report. Best check with immigration in Phuket to check local requirements.
  15. If you are doing your 90 report in person why wait till last minute. Note you can do it in person up to 7 days post due date. You can do it up to 15 days prior. You are aware of online and mail options. Here is online link. https://tm47.immigration.go.th/tm47/#/login
  16. Yep typo. If you have hobby that you enjoy there go for it.
  17. Your history no problem flying in visa exempt. Be aware that the airline will most likely require onward flight. Regarding entry via land borders visa exempt there is a cap of 2 per calendar year and you won't have any issues even with more recent history staying in Thailand. Stick with your flight options. Koh Lepi ....assume you have been there. I wouldn't go with a free ticket.
  18. Yes I also suggested make appointment and that is something that at CW at least works a treat. He will attend Laksi. Haven't read reports of how well it's working there.
  19. He has a banged up foot. Mentioned earlier in thread. Nonetheless that will be his best solution with taxi door to door. I did it recently on crutches so it's possible.
  20. It's an interesting one. I have done many extensions retirement using money in the bank method at CW. Never an issue just showing bankbook pages photocopies. This most recent one Nov, I had an issue. I use dedicated bank account with minimal activity. No balances are consolidated however young io had issue with zero activity in various months. No need for others to state that activity has always been required at their imm office. It never has been for me at CW. Apart from that this year even with an appointment this young io sent me back to document check. There were two girls there that were like robots with a check list. They required my most recent TM47 receipt. Never been asked for previously. The more senior imm officer made me write on paperwork that "next time I will bring bank statements" Ridiculous.
  21. I'm lost. What did you do at immigration on Oct 29. If it was a TM30 to notify of return to address, then that is no longer required and immigration is wrong. Which office. It can't be for 90 day report as you just returned to Thailand.
  22. You arrive back in Thailand on 28th Oct. Why did you attend immigration on 29Oct? If you return to Thailand with reentry permit or same visa there is no need to report to immigration. The rules regarding TM30 returning from overseas and even another province changed. As for your next 90 day report I would suggest do it online 75+ days from Oct 28 (your reenter date)
  23. Sounds as though you are using old online report. Online reporting is now up till due date. Check this online reporting link. https://tm47.immigration.go.th/tm47/#/login
  24. You are completely missing the point. Take example simple question from random thread...... "what are the requirements for extension based on retirement using money in the Bank method" Why is my first question to that .."which immigration office are you using?" The reason is many have their own rules. Some accept Google maps for address. Some want hand drawn map. Some want bank statements. Some accept bank pages photocopies. Some ask for 3 month report back. Most do not. Some want bank letter on day of application. Some accept up to 7 days early. Stop there ....many more I can list. Note: that's for the most simple 12 month extension.
  25. Some offices only start to consider mail in reports from due date. CW is one. Yes it would be possible to be given different dates if file online and via mail. I would assume that you just used the Jan 6 for your next online due by date.
