  1. Allowed two visa exempt entries via land per calendar year. So 45+30(extension) wash and repeat.
  2. If you want to stay longer, do a border run. Exit and reenter visa exempt 45 days + 30 day extension if you wish
  3. I made an appointment couple of days ago for mid October. All time slots were available. Try it again.
  4. That's excellent info for folk dealing with Phuket. It's not possible in some places such as Bangkok. Edit: sorry just realized I stumbled into forum dedicated to Phuket. Will leave post as it's certainly not so straight forward elsewhere
  5. How did you obtain residence certificate. Just rock up to immigration. That's not possible everywhere.
  6. Read my post above. CW like to see "activity" meaning deposit/withdrawal on day of application. Not difficult.
  7. I never understand these posts regarding CW, given most banks have branch there notable exception SCB. I booked my appointment yesterday for extension retirement.....10.30 am. Will arrive approx 9am and attend bank. Make small deposit at same time as obtaining bank letter. Ask clerk to kindly photocopy last page of bankbook to show "activity" and balance match letter.
  8. So in future folk be advised to have your passport stamps and visa information transferred when your extension is due. They can do it at the same time. Travel including international is no issue with both passports.
  9. Geez. You are allowed to enter bank and make small transaction.
  10. If you are referring to covid extensions they are gone. Finished
  11. We had this discussion on your previous extension 12 months ago. I suggest you provided them and the io accepted them. Never been required.
  12. What do you mean by photocopies "statements" I just provide photocopies of bank book pages.
  13. I made an appointment CW yesterday no problem. https://www.immigration.go.th/?page_id=20131 OP, in regards to TM30 and 90 day report receipt I have never provided either for my extensions based on retirement at CW.
  14. Seems you are trying to fit square peg in round hole. There are various plans to try are maximize your chances however ultimately will be refused entry. You are flying from UK so personally I would fly to somewhere like Saigon. UK folk get 15 days visa exempt for Vietnam. You could (maybe) obtain tourist visa at Saigon Thai consulate. Best to fly to CNX (CM) with that tourist visa. The reason being if you fly UK to Bangkok and are refused you would fly back to UK.
  15. Spend some time out of Thailand. You are correct there are not many options for a 30 year old to live in Thailand. Visa option is pretty much down to elite visa. Marriage.
  16. The onward ticket is within 30 days. Where to buy ..just Google "onward flights" you will see various companies. Cost approx 15usd. "Throw away ticket" means cheapest real ticket that you book and do not use. Cost approx 1500baht.
  17. Your point? The OP has been caught out due to cancelled flight.. Post advice to him.
  18. Couple of weeks is the norm. You can try earlier....the immigration office will either process or tell you return later
  19. Is that a serious post. So in the future a two day overstay could prevent someone obtaining a TV or non O etc. Please.
  20. One very small overstay does not rule out PE (elite visa). Post facts.
  21. Your appointment would be fine however why cut it fine. I would go later and then 2 months seasoning is very clear.
  22. Hopefully can add quick question here (completely unrelated) So booking trip Bangkok to Saigon return. Scoot showing flights that suit me better than AirAsia which is who I normally use. The payment and booking is via agent. One is "MyTrip" there are others Are these companies reliable? Booking direct with Scoot appears quite a bit more expensive. TIA
  23. To a certain extent depends on your recent history of stays in Thailand. Regarding the need for onward flight for visa exempt travel to Thailand you could ask the airline directly. Re your idea of trip to Vietnam and return to thailand visa exempt an important aspect would be how long you stay in Vietnam. For the evisa to obtain tourist visa I suggest obtaining a tourist visa at Vietnamese Thai consulate or embassy. Saigon consulate is easy/helpful and overnight process.
