    Everyone states 15 before. Think the 15 includes due date. I prefer to do online 14 prior to due date.

    Proof funds came from overseas are only required for non O retirement application in Thailand. Proof of funds from abroad is not required.for annual extensions. When changing banks be very careful and I suggest you do it by bank to bank transfer.

    Any trips you have to visit family for short periods (such as this trip) do it with visa exempt entry.

    Yes first register. They give you a ridiculous password but you can change that via forgot password or in your confirmation email. There is no TM6 number to fill in.

    Keep in mind that flying visa exempt the airline at departure may require an onward flight within 30 days of arrival to issue boarding pass. You mention 22 day trip so you most likely have return flight.

    Amazing so (prior to covid) i was flying in/out Thailand twice a month for long time. Not all Saigon but that certainly was the main one. EVERY time I was asked for boarding pass and arrival card and given tm6 departure section in return. The tm6 has temporarily been suspended.

    Snap ...that was exact figure I had in mind. If that failed I guess the OP could maintain the money in bank requirements for the coming year in order to obtain extension retirement in the future and for next extension coming up use agent.

    Suggest to wife you give her some cash and she helps you with 60 day extension.

    IO gave you 60 day extension to visit wife. You should have paid 1900baht for that extension.

    Have always required boarding pass. Prior to covid I flew out/in Thailand twice per month. Boarding pass always asked for. Granted often not providing one is overlooked as they realize most travellers are dills. The same ones that don't have a pen. The same ones that don't fill in arrival card (prior to suspension). Rant about nothing

    Why do people torment themselves with issues about # of pages or expiry date. Most passports are valid for 10 years. Obtain a new one if you have time on your permission of stay to allow for that. Just get a renewal of pp well prior to empty Guage, simple.

    I'm not aware of how pensions or super income streams work in the USA. I do know how they work in Oz. 80k USD is a VERY high income for a retiree income stream. The "rich" folk I know in Oz wouldn't dream of ongoing living in Thailand. In any event as the saying goes ..."The proof is in the pudding" Don't see this as attractive to many folk that actually qualify for it.
