  1. Yes you can obtain a covid extension. They are for 60 days. 1900baht. Obtain one prior to Jan 25 (even though they will be extended) Several reports of doing exactly that for various reasons on funds not being in the account for 2 months prior. In your situation no need for agent.
  2. What you have is screenshot of your landlord filing of TM30. That's all you need. Personally I would print it out. Mail it to yourself and print attachment. Yes looks like a one line entry. If you have any receipt of rent etc take it along. Won't be needed.
  3. Previously think covid extension was about 5-6k that included pick up drop off and the 1900b extension fee. Not sure what it currently is. The 10k was only mentioned by OP. I would try without agent and most likely have a outbound flight (rent ticket) given the previous experience. I just wish immigration would calm the heck down.
  4. Overstay refers to staying in Thailand beyond the period for which you are permitted. You can go on the 17th.
  5. There are several in Bangkok. Bangkok Buddy is one. Helpful lady (Thai) named Tanya. I sometimes mention TVC as can PM them on AseanNow. Most agents have office and web page. Communication via LINE or MESSENGER etc. Personally wouldn't deal with any agent that did not have office etc. Obviously I'm not referring to 90 reports and the minor stuff.
  6. Personally I would forget the trying to file your own TM30. You could check into a cheap hotel that assures you they can file a TM30 and give you screenshot of receipt. Don't be too concerned with overstay. Yes it's 500baht per day but they will still process your extension. You could also ask for advice in Phuket forum. You may obtain first hand recent advice there. Alternatively go to agent. Not really needed.
  7. Your post is good example of what some are typing. "Bank Statement" may or may not cut it. It's up to the immigration officer. My advice, be it income method or money in the bank method... 1. Have a dedicated account for immigration purposes with a Bank Book be it an FD or Savings account. 2. Avoid foreign currency account.
  8. Thinking if could file 90 report in Soi 4 could be expensive day.
  9. Don't beat yourself up. Once there was a rumour that we could do out 90 day reports at 7/11 shops. Took off like wildfire. Wouldn't that be nice. 90 day report and toasted ham & cheese.
  10. @ThaiPauly No worries. Rest assured that if/when reentry permits were ever put on hold it would be front page news.
  11. Granted. Something's you need to dig your heals in even if it causes you grief. However reading every day the various issues with financial requirements for extensions being made difficult either by the applicant or by the immigration offier/office...my approach is to 'keep it simple'. Using foreign currency accounts or accounts without a Bank Book or using one account for both immigration purposes and everyday banking etc etc is imo making easy into problematic.
  12. Seriously! Read where? What's the point of random rumors
  13. Must be due to Jan 25 looming. What's the real estate saying... "It's a sellers market" I think you should go along yourself and have a go by yourself. You could consider one of those "rent a flight" tickets. Google "onward flight" and you will see options approx 12usd. You shouldn't have to however an option.
  14. Thanks for that. Sounds like your from that neck of the woods. I wasn't so much referring to his tatts but rather to his physique. Looks like a muscular guy. The Vikings always seem to be portrayed that way. Did they pillage and plunder... Might have them mixed up with the Huns. My history knowledge is minimal.
  15. What you describe is blueprint of myself. For my first several years here I had never done a 90 report due to exit reenter Thailand almost every month (2 at the most). Did my first ever 90 report at MTT 2020 due to covid. Finally was able to obtain residence certificate. Think the issue for OP is his TM30. I didn't require one at that time and was able to go from report desk A to desk B for the residence certificate. I had a 12 month lease with me but the io didn't look at it. Just wanted a verbal confirmation that indeed I lived at the address I had written in the TM47. As usual there is often variation in experience. I wonder if the OP may have had better luck doing a 90 day report at MTT first. The other issue for myself was that Oz embassy does not provide the affirmation that you outlined.

  17. You can only obtain one 60 day extension to visit wife per entry. You are correct. This is from op. Yes seems he has obtained the 60 to visit wife. Not completely clear. f yes, is there a way to solve this? I’ve already used my 30 or 60 day extension last year as well as the COVID extension they had so I guess I can’t use any of those again
  18. This OP has been on covid extensions and I recall previous horrible experience last covid extension at CW. Had to show outward flight, which is BS. Think CW started this latest trick. I have been assisting guy in exact same boat and experience as the OP. He obtained covid extension Monday. Again some flack with the "this is your last". Some folk get very upset. Understandably. I've thought of your idea of checking it out and looking on site for agent. Personally I would just use agent given CW rubbish.
  19. As usual UJ has it covered. The issue is some immigration offices and or officers will not accept account with no bank book. There have been reports stating that. Why make easy difficult.
  20. Should be possible to obtain while still available. Did not come with any caveat re number of times can obtain. Yes recently some vague statement of tightening the screws. Why. In any event Omicron on scene. Clearly covid extensions will continue.
  21. The requirement using money in bank is 2 months prior to day of application for extension.
  22. Just another megalomaniac. Immigration clerks do not set government policy. They should stamp the pp according to what goes into gazette. Empty head power trippers.
