  1. There is no under consideration period for 12 month extension based on retirement.
  2. Point 5 on list of requirements on this link states 10 baht stamp on SAE https://bangkok.immigration.go.th/en/90days-report/
  3. Why folk post this stuff amazes me. One hour at CW maybe. Travel to and from CW is another matter, esp for those without car. The OP will receive reply for mail application in due course. Can take few weeks after due date.
  4. Tell all the folk posting previously in this thread re fast track lane/reentry permit https://aseannow.com/topic/1295745-re-entry-permit-at-suvarnabhumi-fast-track-or-not/
  5. Interesting superior view. I wouldn't let you cut in front of me. There is no fast tract lane in Zone 2. As others have suggested... used correct lane in another Zone and after passing pp control walk all the way round to Zone 2
  6. Yes. You can make an appointment https://bangkok.immigration.go.th/en/onlineservice-and-publicguide/
  7. You attend CW. IT LakSi for those with visa exempt entry. Most likely you require a TM30. Obviously TM7 printed double sided with photo. Basic photocopies of pp. 1900b
  8. OP, thanks for the update. Personally if dealing with CW for annual extensions I would change banks to one that has branch in Building B
  9. Is an option but not good. He is only staying in Thailand for one week then SR for a week. With reentry permit he will reenter Thailand with 6 weeks remaining and option of a 30 day extension.
  10. Yes. Can obtain reentry at immigration or at airport day of departure. 1000b single reentry permit. Airport has extra 200b option to do TM8 and photo. Here is thread re reentry permit at BKK. At DMK same process however office is just AFTER passport control
  11. That would work. You can also extend that by 30 days. You can do 2 visa exempt entries via land per calendar year.
  12. Only bumping as zero reply. Flight to Udon Thani is an option. I like the joint. An alternative from Bangkok is to mix in trip to Pattaya and bounce to Cambodia using agent. This thread outlines positive review https://aseannow.com/topic/1312731-border-run-pattaya-to-cambodia/
  13. OP received advice and then posted flame reply. Removed. Thread closed.
  14. Certainly not the only country. Many allow "regular" pp along with "business" pp. In any event slightly off topic.
  15. This is his only option. The earlier suggestion in OP will not work. Not sure of current turn around for UK pp. There is recent thread. Will have a look. Hopefully some UK guy can update.
  16. Country passport ?. I recently renewed my Oz pp all via mail and it turn around time was 20 days. Even if sticker went on last page the io at entry to Thailand will need to search around for place for entry stamp. You planning on extension? That's another stamp. Poor planning.
  17. If you are 50+ and can obtain a non O based on retirement and the only extension option is 12 months. Has financial requirements
  18. You don't need a home base. The question you ask is too open. You can obtain a non O based on retirement from a tourist visa or visa exempt entry. Many threads on this. Seems you might be eligible for a LTV which is relatively new. You also state that you can afford an PE (elite) visa. You do not need to be in UK or France to apply for SETV or non O. Thinking you need to narrow the field on how you want ongoing living in Thailand. Most unmarried guys are on annual extensions from a non O. The non O can be obtained in Thailand or places such as HCMC and Savannakhet etc
  19. Have someone fill it out once and use that as guide for ongoing extensions. Personally long way from 90 however already planning to move to using agent.
