  1. Afaik all the appetite suppressants that do really work are based on amphetamines, thus they are controlled drugs. (Besides of maybe nicotine...) So a pharmacy can't sell it to you legally unless a doctor prescribed it.
  2. I recommend to do ICL instead of Lasik, the big advantage is that it's reversible, you could replace it with a different lense later in life if required, or if there should be some new technology in the future you can switch to that. I didn't do mine in Thailand, so I can't recommend anything here.
  3. That's already the case, see for example: https://www.bbc.com/worklife/article/20161130-fat-people-earn-less-and-have-a-harder-time-finding-work Yes, a vaccinated person can still catch and spread it, but the chance to do this is lower compared to an unvaccinated person.
  4. You can also just scan the QR code found on the certificate, and bookmark this link, no app required. Here an example of how this looks like: https://co19cert.moph.go.th/cert/?id={BA787F22-A499-4BE9-AB9D-D678F0C3D221} (I have no idea who this person is, this link showed up on Google, she probably posted it on Facebook or something and Google found it)
  5. The employer isn't really "forcing" her, is he? He just says that if she doesn't get vaccinated she will get less salary. Deducting money for not being vaccinated is probably against the law, so she could probably fight this. But the consequence will be that she will just be fired if she doesn't get vaccinated, and this is legal. So how important is the job for her?
  6. After trying to find some more infos on Google it seems that the drugs for Premature Ejaculation are usually psychotropics, only available through a hospital and quite expensive because they are imported. Is there anything available that's produced locally and isn't a controlled substance? Years ago I remember seeing Super Kamagra, but haven't seen this for a while, so might be banned?
  7. For example this one: https://www.machinerylubrication.com/Read/30197/choose-engine-oil Just look it up on Google to learn more. If the outside temperature wouldn't make a difference, why would there be different SAE ratings? That's not how the SAE rating works.
  8. 10W30 means that it's made for temperatures up to 30 degree Celsius. In Thailand it's often warmer than that, so this oil would not be a good choice for Thailand.
  9. Look into the owners manual, it tells you which specifications the oil needs to fulfill, then just look for the cheapest oil which fulfills them.
  10. Yes, they pay VAT when selling used vehicles, but I'm not sure how it's calculated. I know that for example in Germany when buying/selling used items, the dealer only pays the VAT on the difference between buying and selling price. So if for example he would buy a car for 500k, and sells it for 600k, he would pay VAT only on the 100k profit. Maybe in Thailand it's similar, or maybe in Thailand they pay VAT on the whole price, or maybe some other option of which I didn't think yet.
  11. These are probably different models of cameras from one brand. You should ask the shop for the complete name of the cameras.
  12. They know how many people got the first Sinovac shot, and I would assume that they will only get the matching amount of AZ shots. There might of course be a few people who don't show up. But I think the chance that these doses will be used as booster shots for medical personnel is higher than that they would give them to random walk-ins, but who knows, I'm just speculating.
  13. Did you or your landlord do a TM30 to report your stay?
  14. The day you stop working your extension ends. Immigration doesn't know it though, unless somebody would tell them. You can re-enter Thailand with your re-entry permit, but actually that's not legal. It might cause problems if you would want to apply for some other kind of extension in the future, and you need to get your current extension canceled, then the IO might notice that your extension actually ended long ago. If you want to be 100% legal you would need to get a new visa (or enter visa exempt) before entering Thailand.
  15. If Thais go to the hospital where they are registered they pay 30THB.
  16. This rule doesn't apply to BOI companies (I don't know if all, maybe only some have this special privilege)
  17. Your ASQ hotel will file a TM30 for you for the stay with them. Once you return to your "home" it's up to you (or your landlord) to submit a TM30 within 24 hours, for your stay there.
  18. I saw the many posts from people who have problems to register, most likely because the system is designed for Thai ID cards and also requests the "laser code" starting with JT on the back of the ID card only found on Thai citizen ID cards, not on pink ID cards. Instead of scanning the QR code shared here in some posts you can also just add this Line ID as your friend to "get the Mor Prom app" (actually it's not an app): @475ptmfj Or use this link: https://page.line.me/475ptmfj Upon using the registration link there you will be asked to input your name, ID number, code on the back of the card and your birthday. If the checksum in the ID number is correct all of the data is sent to some API to be verified, if any of it doesn't match it shows an error. (Name has to be in Thai, at least when using my GF's Thai ID card as test, I don't have valid pink ID card data to test it) For the tech savvy people here: This check is only done client side, so it is possible to register with any made up data. For all regular people who have a Thai person willing to help: After one person has successfully registered, this person is able to book appointments for family members from his/her account (I doubt anybody checks if this is actually a family member, most likely any Thai friend can just book an appointment for you as well) When adding additional persons the system doesn't actually verify the data, besides of the checksum in the ID number, I guess they just forgot to implement it at this point. So to get an appointment let for example your wife register with her data first, because her data will be valid, and after this she adds you as her family member, in which case the ID number from your pink ID card will work as well. Because they forgot to implement the verification, any ID number from a "thai id number generator" which you can find on Google will work as well, but I don't know what the hospital will do if you can't present an ID card which matches the number in their system when you show up for the appointment. At some point they might notice that they didn't implement the verification correctly and what I described above might stop to work. Considering that it looks like they want only Thais to register, it's of course also a bit questionable if they will honor appointments of foreigners.
  19. I plan to do a trip to the south in November. The exact location is still open, i might also visit several provinces. I'm preferably looking for places which offer something to see right from the beach without having to go anywhere with a boat. A few years ago i was at Koh Tao, this wasn't bad. Is there anything better than this?
