There's really nothing unusual of his shoes being off . My guess is he was struck by something . More often than not a person being struck will be found quite a far distance from there shoes .  I ve see people that have come out of fully laced and tied boots in accidents .

    really ??????

Living in that area as I do, I see many cyclists and it is not so strange that one would have an accident or suffer a stroke in the heat of the last few days and not sure why so many would cynically look for foul play and play detective in this case. RIP to the man.

Many foreigners ideas for enforcement of all Thailands issues are accurate but the root of the problem is when the government comes down hard the Thai people cry its over burdening and excessive punishment because they are poor and have no money or choices to meet the mandates. A vicious circle as the riding in the back of open pickup trucks crackdown highlighted.
The same for larger fines for infractions to send a message to the population that they can’t afford. The west will jail you if you don’t pay. Thailand is not willing to impose that on the people to send a message and lock up poor people who can’t pay ฿5000 for running a red light or no helmet or no license etc.
It’s a game of appeasement they both play. The government doesn’t get to stern and punish them excessively and the people don’t rise up against them and are willing to overlook the foolishness that goes on amongst the elite in power.
Simple as that, a quid pro quo.

No the vote would be whether to accept the deal the government has negotiated for Brexit.  It is not a second referendum as to whether to stay in or leave.  The vote would be far more for the benefit of the Brexiteers because they are the ones being sold down the river.  But some prefer to say no, we will accept that Brexit doesn't deliver anything we actually wanted and we will be worse off.

    Hard to understand but hey!....

so long as they stop all the spongers coming in people will accept it.  ---  if they dont    well thats the out of touch gov. that we've had for years
