  1. You are an embarrassment to the human race.
  2. I completely disagree, right from the getgo the proponent of legalizing cannabis (Anutin) said recreational use was not allowed. If someone was stupid enough to invest their money opening a weed shop with recreational cannabis as their target market then they deserve everything that’s coming. Medicinal cannabis may have some benefits but recreational cannabis just causes problems across society.
  3. No, only the one type, the rear is slightly shallow but it's not noticeable unless you know it's there.
  4. The colour is not for everyone. It invokes strong views one way or the other. I can tell you it turns heads! I am sure girls will love it, I don't think many guys could comfortably choose any shade of pink. It's a colour Porsche introduced with the Taycan and it's their slowest selling colour. I have always loved this colour. I particularly wanted grey wheels as it complements pink, I would have preferred a lighter shade of grey but the Seal has an unusual wheel size and there aren't that many choices. But overall I'm happy, the tyres need blacking as they were as they came from the changeover at B-Quik.
  5. I just measured the BYD badge at the back, it's exactly 52cm to each side of the boot lid so I think it's just the angle of the camera shot. I don't see the point in having BYD on the boot lid twice, albeit one with the word Seal, it was a toss up whether to leave the AWD or the 3.8S, the boy-racer in me won. I was considering removing the big BYD badge as well, but felt it would look wrong. I did contemplate leaving off the 3.8S badge too and thus making it into a proper Q car, but vanity won. I don't think the paint on the bumpers properly adheres to the bumpers, Rolling Wrap in repositioning the wrap pulled a whole chunk of paint off, it's clearly not binding with the bumper and probably too thin. I think it's only going to get worse. If you lose some in the visible area then you will even see it through a wrap. The best time to wrap a car is before you get any stone chips. I think a lot of Seal owners are going to have to have their bumpers resprayed at some point, I hope I'm wrong but I suspect I'm not. The guy also said that Tesla's are exactly the same. I have long thought the Thai view on accessorizing their cars, is the more bits the better and if someone makes it, it must be good. I'm a "less is more" kind of guy. I hate the plastichrome things they put behind door handles or on fuel filler flaps or round their head/tail lights.
  6. I would like to understand how a solar diverter charger works. Is it possible to tell the car to vary the charge rate? I understood once the initial handshake is done, it's not possible for the wallbox to tell the car to change the charge rate, but I may be wrong. Or does the wallbox tell the car to stop charging and re-initialise with a new charging rate? If it stops the charging by forcing a fault (i.e. stopping charging by power cut off) then some cars won't re-initialise without removing the plug. I made something using an under/over voltage cutoff contactor and then a changeover contactor to reverse the effect. Charging begins at my set voltage (245v) and stops when it drops to another set voltage (230v). Charging only starts when my grid-tied inverters are kicking out a good amount of current to the grid and consequently the voltage rises, charging then starts. If a cloud crosses the sun, charging stops and starts again when the sun comers out again. The flaw in this is that it cuts the power causing the car to see an error, some cars allow this a couple of times (German) others won't restart without removing the plugb (MGEP+/4). I haven't tried the Seal yet. The elegant way to do this would be to use a smart charger with OCPP communication and tell the charger to stop, and start again with a new current.
  7. I am not denying that you are a homophobic bigot.
  8. I just had my car back from being wrapped, he's done an excellent job. A cautionary note, when he was wrapping the back bumper, it removed some paint from the bumper, a piece fell off, fortunately it's inside where the boot closes. I would say it's now very wise, to at the very least, wrap your bumpers front & rear with PPF if not wrapping the full car. The wrap was 32,000 baht (I got a 2,000 baht discount from 34,000, Rolling Wrap Chiang Rai). The Wheels were 28,600 baht from B-Quik, original tyres and I still have the old wheels. Window film is 3M 40% cut at 12,000 baht, no film on the panoramic roof. Black badges from Lazada, less is more, so some badges in the bin.
  9. I can understand why people with WR Life policies want it to be legitimate, but it clearly isn't. What are you going to do when your legitimate claim is denied? Appeal to which ombudsman? Sue who? Where?
  10. I haven't had my car since Monday but I haven't been notified yet.
  11. I think all the 12v ones are suitable, the 12v LFP battery and electrical system will be mimicking a normal cars system. 2-in-1 4USB Jump Start & Power Bank 99800mAh Jump Starter Kit with Air Pump + USB 4 Ports Portable Car Charger Jumpstarter Car Starter Aid Car Jump Start Jump Start Powerbank | Lazada.co.th You probably only need the cheapest one as it's never going to turnover an ICE. Interestingly, the Tesla Cybertruck has moved to a 48 volt system, I think that's a trend we will see.
  12. Have you tried Chiang Rai? I think we have the coolest weather here. 16C this morning at 7am.
  13. This thread is like swimming through molasses
  14. More fluffy whataboutism
  15. You're right, someone did post that EV sales are falling in the US and the UK without offering any data. I corrected him with official data from both countries. Three of the posters in this & other EV threads have bought new Porsche's at a lot more than that. Two of them were EV's, I don't know about the third.
  16. BYD reveals new 1000bhp-plus BMW i5 M60 rival (msn.com)
  17. I did read it, how long it takes to come on stream was not mentioned in your post, it's irrelevant. The current world supply is between 20-40 million tons as I said. Discounting seawater. They aren't, another erroneous fact you spouted.
  18. The Seal has an LFP 12v battery, should be good for a few years, most others are lead-acid, we have one of those Lithium based power banks that will start an ICE vehicle, it might be worth keeping one of those in the car.
  19. No that's not a fact, America's recent find is between 20-40 million metric tons.
  20. Be careful how you wire it or it will be a parasitic load and may cause the thing you are trying to avoid.
  21. My dealer was AAS I only got a 2 year warranty:-(
  22. There are lots of brands with the only dealer in Bangkok, I bought one from the only official dealer there 2.5 years ago, it never bothered me, they came and collected it with a slide-on for 2 warranty claims.
  23. HSBC are well aware I live outside the UK, they send correspondence here. They have not attempted to close my account.
  24. Clearly, as a homophobe you are one of the "freaks"
