  1. I's say Texas has a debt to Florida. Not sure what is wrong with Fla. being so generous.
  2. Oh I'm so sorry, But I thought Buttigieg was Transportation Secretary.
  3. Gee I don't know, well maybe your comment 7 hours ago, Bkk Brian said: They need to look at the legislation that may have led to this: Trump Rolls Back Train-Braking Rule Meant to Keep Oil Tankers from Exploding Near Communities Trains that carry oil and other flammable material won’t have to install electronically controlled brakes that reduce the risk of train derailments and explosions after the reversal by Trump officials of an Obama-era safety rule. https://fortune.com/2018/09/24/train-explosion-prevention-rule-reversed-by-trump-officials/ Trying to shift blame on Trump, too funny. I'm sure Pete Buttigieg will look into it.
  4. If that amount is soldiers then the numbers will increase greatly with the USN and support ships in port.
  5. What would the cost of housing, medical care and schooling cost the taxpayer? Is that fair? Seems like a bus ticket is saving boat loads of money.
  6. An exact cause for the derailment has not yet been determined by the US National Transportation Safety Board, but they said that it may have been related to a mechanical issue on one of the car axles. This is part of the OP, it doesn't mention brake failure. https://nypost.com/2023/02/13/pete-buttigieg-slammed-for-silence-on-ohio-train-derailment/ Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg copped bipartisan heat Monday when he failed to address the catastrophic Ohio train derailment which released toxic chemicals into the air this month — but joked about Chinese spy balloons and moaned about a lack of diversity in the construction industry.
  7. 12 hours ago, heybruce said: What is reasonable about Florida taxpayers paying to shuffle immigrants between states hundreds of miles away from Florida. This clearly is DeSantis using taxpayer money to fund election stunts. I responded, and you deflect. Typical.
  8. Do they have these shows at the schools here? I'm not talking about private venues like going to the movies.
  9. The examples are endless, so sad some hate the GOP so much their judgement gets clouded. https://www.foxnews.com/media/drag-queen-story-hour-graders-philadelphia-school-outrages-parents
  10. Things are different here in Thailand. They learn from an early age that there are boys that act like girls and so on. They aren't indoctrinated on the subject. TV shows have the wacky looking ladyboy. At a restaurant I asked my 11 yr old about the worker. Man or woman, she giggled and said man lady. ahahaa They don't need story books or drag shows here to educate them, it's a part of natural life here. When she's 15 I doubt I'll drop her off near Walking Street to play with her friends.
  11. https://nypost.com/2022/06/11/over-200k-being-spent-on-drag-queen-shows-at-nyc-schools/ These shows are at the school. Who in their right mind thinks this is fine for young kids?
  12. For starters, their not immigrants. Migrants at best and what's wrong with a ticket to a state like NY where they'll be given a 4-5 star hotel room. https://nypost.com/2022/10/12/luxury-row-nyc-hotel-to-house-hundreds-of-migrant-families/ Isn't it better to ship the problem out of state to sanctuary cities like NY than to keep them instate and continue paying. Taxpayers lose either way.
  13. My guess would be that all the posters on here who think drag shows for kids is just good entertainment have never had kids. Just a guess. And yet those childless folks want to dictate what's appropriate for kids. For once I wish the very small % of the LGBTQ community would just go on about their lives quietly and stop dictating what the majority of Americans should do or tolerate.
  14. Gun laws is a different topic as you well know. Don't you want laws to protect our youth from making mistakes which will effect them for the rest of their lives? It's a shame that plain common sense doesn't work anymore and laws have to be passed.
  15. It's the crazies that make these common sense laws necessary. By crazies I mean the very small % of out population who takes things just way too far.
  16. Too bad this is about Florida teachers. I understand you'll trash talk any conservative.
  17. I do a few hits followed by melatonin and I still have a restless sleep.
  18. It's too bad the very small minority of folks are offended, but then they always seem to be.
  19. I suggest he contact Bob Smith for advice.
  20. So where in Pattaya is an easy place for parking to view the bikes and cars???/
  21. The Ray ban website says 100% protection while another site states exactly as you say. Oh well at age 65 with all my life in the sun, a bit too late to worry now.
  22. My Ray Ban's have the letter P for polarized on top left part of lens. Not all Ray Bans have this. But with the ridiculous prices for quality sunglasses here in Thailand and you're still not sure of the quality. Around 12K baht in Thailand.
