  1. He is certainly very widely read. I don't know that I equate that to intelligence.
  2. IMO Pence's finest achievement was refusing to abandon his duty to the Constitution, in the face of Trump's pressure and a feral mob wanting to hang him.
  3. The way Trump rambles and goes off on tangents is one sign. Confusing people, such as Nikki Haley with Nancy Pelosi, is another. Trump does struggle to find the right words, and pronounce them correctly. He's got the mood swings. It's hard to say how far advanced his dementia is.
  4. If you tune into any GG thread, you will have the same experience.
  5. Really? Trump lied 33 times, and was fact checked 5 times. Harris lied once. Speaking of lying, you claimed Taylor Swift supported Trump. Post proof. You are obviously so blinded by your allegiance you would not know truth if it bit you on the @rse.
  6. She has more rallies because: (a) Trump is noticeably low energy (b) The Dems don't have to pay Harris's legal bills. The GOP is low on funds to pay for rallies. (c) Some cities won't let Trump hold a rally until he pays his bills for the last one. The mayor of Erie, Pennsylvania demanded payment up front for garbage collection and traffic control. The rally barb from Harris lives on rent-free in Trump's head. And some supporters, apparently.
  7. That ditzy woman filleted Trump like a trout in the debate. He was reduced to rabbiting on about immigrants eating dogs. First you are saying Taylor Swift is of no account, now Harris. I'd say you have a problem with successful women.
  8. I don't think they do. IMO they accept everything Trump says as gospel, that's what cult followers do. Questioning the leader is heresy.
  9. Nobody gets to be a billionaire in show business without genuine appeal. This week's prize for a sour grapes post goes to..............
  10. My parents both died with all their mental faculties intact, so I think genetics are on my side. Physically, my body seems to be intent on acquiring every ailment in the medical lexicon.
  11. If you played behind a group of 6-8 Thais, Japanese, or Koreans here, you'd need a machine gun.

    Alarm Clock

I have yet to find a mobile/cell phone that does not have an alarm function and adjustable audio. Put it under the pillow, set to vibrate as well.
  13. Yes. AFAIK most hospitals have morgues.
  14. Move the fan further away.
  15. Refrigerated body storage?
  16. India and China have always been big gold buyers, but that is more because of the cultural and religious significance, particularly in India. IMO silver is underrated. It's in nearly every smartphone, tablet, laptop and desktop on the planet.
  17. The most boring aspect of the insults is their lack of originality. Nothing creative. If one looks at the insults Trump uses routinely, they are straight out of primary school.
  18. Who wants rubles, yuan and rupees? The real store of value IMO is gold and silver.
  19. What good is an automatic rifle against an Abrams tank? Do the citizens go out and buy Stingers? Where does it end? Face it, Americans love their guns. It's the only valid reason for owning them. The price you pay for that love affair is children being shot in your schools. AFAIK the only instance in Australia was two people killed at Monash University over 20 years ago.
  20. Clinton beat Trump by 1 million votes. How is that fair?
  21. I am saying the Second Amendment is no longer fit for purpose. I doubt the people who framed it foresaw a situation where any wingnut could walk into a school and start killing schoolchildren. The same with the Electoral College. It is now used to thwart the popular vote. One way or another, I suspect Americans will have another civil war after November 5.
  22. We have states in Australia too - six of them, plus two territories. Those states have been subordinate to the Australian government since Federation. The sky never fell in. Conservative and socialist governments have come and gone, by majority vote. It's probably an overestimate to say 1% of Australians have actually read our Constitution. Perhaps you guys would find life to be simpler if you did not have so many laws and lawyers.
  23. How many committees did Trump need to appoint Bill Barr AG? How many committees did he need to appoint an oil industry executive as Secretary for the Environment? How many committees did it take for Trump to fire James Comey from the FBI? BTW, the Trump organisation billed the American taxpayer $240 million for the 300 times he played golf while President. Your post is arrant nonsense.
  24. I see. So the Founding Fathers could foresee muskets would be replaced by weapons, which at Las Vegas killed 60 people and injured hundreds, wielded by a single person. Perhaps Americans don't realize some of their cherished traditions are no longer fit for purpose.
  25. Do you mind? I've just finished dinner.
