How do you know your injury was caused by a vaccine? Are you a medical professional? -

One of the first moves of any dictatorship is censorship. -
Did Trump bring shame upon the US with his Zelensky lecture?

Bertoldo's Bakery in Griffith, NSW. Although personally I prefer their steak and onion pies. If you can't work out where I am from with the trail of breadcrumbs I have left on this thread, I am disappointed in you. -
Did Trump bring shame upon the US with his Zelensky lecture?

Yes I did, took a Codiphen. I am wounded by the accusation, I thought my intelligence was natural, and not artificial. In answer to your question, although Australia is a very large country, it cannot sustain a large population because there is not enough water. From water does all life begin. IIRC that's a quote from Frank Herbert's "Dune". -
Perhaps you are old enough to remember the Peter Sellers film, "The Mouse That Roared".

The last time I looked, Republicans terrified of Trump were a Senate majority.

You said yourself they are lazy, one post ago. Do you have short term memory problems?

What happens if Trump quits NATO? Why would you think Putin won't use nukes, if it has gone that far?

I will save myself some time by putting you on ignore immediately. Liar. -
Germany has 310 Leopard tanks. It has sent 18 to Ukraine. France has over 500 Schneider tanks. You think these are just ornamental?

Any agreement with Putin is not worth the paper it is written on. Stop revising history. It was the Trump deal with the Taliban that left Biden to try and clean up the mess. -
Did Trump bring shame upon the US with his Zelensky lecture?
Lacessit replied to spidermike007's topic in Political Soapbox
Zelensky had a choice. If he was meek, the Ukrainians fighting for him would have wondered what they were fighting for. It was obviously a setup by a coward and bully, who could not take him on alone, and needed Vance to fire the bullets for him. He has my respect as a hero for his people. OTOH, my respect for Trump, Vance and the 50% of Americans who voted for them went down the toilet quite some time ago. -

So Zelensky should have left on the ride offered, instead of asking for ammunition. Ukraine completely occupied, Baltic States next on Putin's shopping list. If Trump and Vance are so great, why are you here? As you say, you can't fix stupid. -
Common sense says Ukraine can win this war if the EU unites behind it.

Pentagon Orders Expulsion of Transgender Troops Within 60 Days
Lacessit replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Women served in combat during WW I and WWII. Most notably in Russia, as pilots and snipers. Woman can serve in armies in the USA, Canada, Australia and Israel. Woman are not as strong as men. However, they can endure extremes of heat and cold better than men. The existence of female warriors in ancient cultures such as Scythia and Sarmatia has been noted by historians. It's where the Amazon legend originated. Strength is not necessary when operating a high tech drone from hundreds of kilometres away. The transgender ban looks to me like just another example of Trump bigotry. Who cares what your sex is, as long as you can fight or give support to troops in the field? A lot of misogynistic rubbish on this thread. -
Why not? China has given nuclear technology to Iran since the eighties. Do you remember the Molotov-Ribbentrop agreement? What makes you think the Xi-Putin accord is any different?
-
IMO Putin is focused at 180 degrees to where he should be looking. The Chinese think long-term. What better opportunity could there be for them to take over the riches of eastern Siberia, while the Russian army bleeds out in Ukraine. Steel makes the sinews of war. In 2024, Russia produced 70 million tonnes. The Chinese made 1 billion tonnes. Draw your own conclusions.

Let me know when you have finished throwing your toys out of the pram.

There was a time American goods were top quality, and sought after. Then the bean counters moved in, and put your technicians and engineers in the back seat. Or on a dole queue. You crapped in your own nest. Now you're doing it again.

Trump is putting 25% tariffs on steel and aluminium, both of which we export to you. Only fair if we put 25% tariffs on American goods, right? We make our steel from 60% plus iron ore. America makes its steel from 30% taconite mined at the Mesabi range. It makes us twice as efficient in producing steel. Which just shows how dumb tariffs are in trying to protect inefficient industries, right?

Your debt is created by you. We had a reciprocal trade deal with you, you have a positive balance of trade with Australia. Stop trying to revise history

What's important is showing a kleptomaniac murderer like Putin he can't win, and needs to back off. You don't seem too worried about carbon emissions, going by your number of posts on this thread.

They'll have clear water to sail through quite soon. Trump's environmental policies will see to that.

It takes 5-7 years on average to develop a mine. After another 4 years of Trump and Musk, Americans will have many other things to think about, such as how they are going to feed themselves.
