Chlorine in most organic molecules interacts with the kidneys and liver. Most organo-chlorines are lipophilic. IIRC about 90% of synthetic medications have one or more chlorine atoms somewhere in the compound. OTOH, stevia is plant-derived, naturally occurring glycosides.
