If you are a successful gambler in a casino, good for you. You don't seem to understand if a thread only allows supporting points of view, it is no different to worshippers in a mosque. I see similarities between your stance and an EV thread where the OP asked the moderators to remove any posts which alluded to the flaws in the argument for EV's.

Russian Soldiers Are Freezing To Death In Eastern Ukraine
Lacessit replied to Scott's topic in World News
Russia is sending troops into Ukraine that don't even want to be there. They are forced to buy their own equipment, due to widespread corruption. They know they will be shot for retreating. They are facing soldiers who have every motivation to exterminate them. The Ukrainians would probably reap dividends from bombing them with leaflets, which urge them to turn their guns on their officers. -
Is it necessary to get a 5th covid-19 vaccine dose ?

Interesting, thanks. As I said before, I am going to assume the need is the same as a yearly flu shot. Plus maintain my fitness level. What you are saying is it's a lottery. -
I am interested in the parallels between religions and crypto, which apparently include the attribute of fanaticism. If you believe I am wasting your time, the solution should be obvious.

I must be doing something wrong, I have poached eggs or an omelet every day for breakfast, and I am as regular as clockwork. Eggs are more protein than fat.
-
Apart from the eggs, a high carb diet. Not good for Type 2 diabetes.

IMO the only safe drinking water here is water I have boiled myself.

What are you eating? Has anyone analysed a stool sample? It sounds to me like you may have acquired a parasitic infection, such as giardia or cryptospiridia. Such infections AFAIK are not treatable with conventional antibiotics, in fact they may make the diarrhea worse. I would suggest asking Sheryl.

It's a crypto thread. I understand religions have forums as well, but they call them congregations. I'm not surprised you have no idea, believers don't understand Bertrand Russell's teapot analogy either. I look forward to your next crypto sermon.

I have an ancient OPPO A37, use it for calls in Australia, LINE and DUO here, read books, play music, and make videos. I've never had a problem with it, still going strong. I could use it as a browser, I prefer my laptop.

I put you on ignore many moons ago, I see no reason to change the situation. -
The OP poses a dilemma. It's fair enough to say people should be able to access essential information in an emergency situation. OTOH, in these days of scammers everywhere, I for one am reluctant to enable them to use said information by making it easily accessible. My solution is a Thai and Australian will, a joint bank account with my GF to tide her over while she waits for probate, and a password-protected USB stick to be posted to my son in Australia containing financial information.

Is it necessary to get a 5th covid-19 vaccine dose ?

What I find preposterous is the fact social media has empowered people of limited education to be so massively influential. No scientific training, no critical thinking skills, yet they consider their "life experience" to be superior to those who have done the hard yards in chemistry, physics and biology. I'll guarantee 99.99% of them have never read R H Thouless, or have any understanding of what the laws of thermodynamics mean. Telling me I am spreading misinformation is the same inversion of truth Trump uses, very effectively with people who are too dumb to realize they are being used. I do read contrary points of view. I then put them under the microscope of what is verifiable fact, what is belief, what is exaggeration, and what has been peer-reviewed by credible organizations. I suspect the list of scientists you may or may not be able to produce will turn out to be those individuals with a specific axe to grind, or financially motivated to express a certain point of view. IIRC, quite a few scientists still work for the tobacco industry. -

Does that work the same way when you ignore my request to post your medical qualifications and experience? -
I have found older women are more grateful, and condoms are not required.

So you have a BA in Journalism parrotting data produced by the Kaiser Family Foundation in the absence of any semblance of peer review. Don't waste my time. Try listing your medical qualifications and experience instead. -

Gravity is real. Step off the balcony of the fourteenth floor of any condo if you feel like proving it. The anti-fluoride brigade amuses me, every time they eat canned salmon or drink black tea they are getting a truckload of the compound they get so irate about. I don't need the help of someone living in some kind of Trumpian parallel universe, thank you. -

The reason you don't have multiple jabs for tetanus is it's a bacterium, not a virus, and it does not mutate. COVID does. You think you are getting the same flu shot as you were 20 years ago? Of course not. The only back-pedalling I am aware of is when the WHO stepped back from saying vaccines prevented COVID infection, to the position they prevented serious illness. Which IMO was an honest mistake, before the evidence Sinovac was only 50% effective. I still got Sinovac as being better than nothing. Your choice if you don't want to have a booster. A better choice for me is to get an antibody test done, so I can make a decision on an informed basis. I am more concerned with the long-term effects of COVID, than any long-term effects of vaccines. The data coming out of Australia is saying 30% of unvaccinated people develop long COVID, and it's quite nasty. Imagine you are a non-smoker who overnight becomes a three pack a day smoker. That's what COVID does to the lungs of some people. -
Is it necessary to get a 5th covid-19 vaccine dose ?
Lacessit replied to bondjames007's topic in Health and Medicine
An anti-vaxxer is a person who cherry-picks data, and is in denial of the facts, such as an unvaccinated person contracting COVID is 5 or 10 times more likely to occupy an ICU, or suffer the effects of long COVID. Anti-vaxxers recoil from explaining why the multiple jabs they have had for polio, tetanus, Hep A etc. have not harmed them. Social media is a haven for nut-jobs who can shriek their beliefs at maximum volume, and support the confirmation biases of one another, while calling sensible people sheeple. O the irony. Vaccines work, gravity is real, global warming and climate change are facts. Fluoride prevents dental caries. Get used to it. -

You can get tested for COVID antibodies at a pathology laboratory. IIRC, it cost me 500 baht. I can't remember the unit of measure. I was told by a staff member if I had a count above 2500, I might be asked to donate blood to assist seriously ill COVID patients. Perhaps Sheryl can comment on what antibody level would make further jabs unnecessary. -

You have a credible link for that statement, or is it the usual social media BS posted by demented anti-vaxxers? -

Perhaps you would kindly post your medical qualifications, Sheryl has helped many members on this forum. OTOH, I can't recall any useful advice from you. Having had 3 jabs, plus COVID, my thinking is to treat COVID like flu from now on. Yearly shots, and maintain physical fitness to give my immune system its best chance. -
I thought the title was a typo for an older Toyota model. Crypto is a belief system, Solana is presumably one of its more obscure gospels. It promises financial paradise to its adherents. Changing to EGLD is like opening a new chapter in the Bible. Religions demand worship of an entity one cannot touch, see or hear. A swarm of electrons whizzing around in cyberspace is remarkably similar. Religions have prophets, and leaders. The leaders usually fare better than followers. See where I am going with this?

I got COVID after Sinovac and AZ jabs. October 2021. I am not one of the morons who claims that proves vaccines don't work. My GF was in quarantine with me. She refused vaccination after social media posts from said morons. My illness lasted 3 days. Sore throat, runny nose. She is 23 years younger than me, had the full gamut of symptoms including nausea, loss of taste and smell, fever etc. She was really sick for ten days. QED. What baffles me about anti-vaxxers is their vocal opposition to COVID vaccines. At the same time, they probably have jabs for polio, tetanus, typhoid - a whole raft of inoculations. What's the difference? Vaccines work, but in this era of constant misinformation on social media truth takes a beating.

I was given Favipiravir while I was in quarantine, my illness lasted 3 days, no after-effects. I was back exercising after 5 days. I am in the most vulnerable age cohort. I can't say whether it worked or not. The hospital x'rayed my lungs on admission, said I had congestion typical of COVID. A week later, I was clear.
