PEG 4000, sold as Macrogol. It dissolves in water, has electrolytes added. It works in about 12 hours. It is a stool softener, not a laxative. Harmless, non-habit forming. It functions by drawing water into the colon, making the feces soft. IIRC 500 baht for 20 sachets. I use it if the bowels have not moved for a couple of days. Nothing wrong with high fibre, but if laxatives are included in the formula it can be harmful long term.

There is an economic war going on, in addition to the military one. IMO it makes more sense to use the ATACMS to cripple Russian oil and gas production. It is Russia's principal source of income, and Putin does not have the engineers to make repairs. The Soviet education system collapsed in the eighties. The Western technologists that helped run oil and gas production are gone. Wars cost money, and the Russian economy is showing the strain. Ask America, Vietnam nearly bankrupted it.

ATACM's can be used to hit Putin's sources of cash, i.e. oil pipelines and processing facilities. IIRC John McCain said Russia was not a country, just a very large gas station. Destruction of the Kerch Strait bridge would cut off Crimea. Russia has been striking at Ukraine's energy, agriculture and civilian infrastructure freely since the start of the war, while Ukraine has had one hand tied behind its' back. Saying 50,000 North Korean troops is a deflection no doubt has the Kremlin approving. Fact is, it's a major escalation.

How much do you pay for health insurance?
Lacessit replied to rudi49jr's topic in Insurance in Thailand
Yes, any public hospital is free in Australia. You would understand my comment better if you were waiting for a hip or knee replacement, or any other surgery deemed to be elective. With my private health insurance, I was having surgery for an inguinal hernia within 3 weeks of landing in Australia. When I asked my GP how long I would be waiting in the public system, his guess was 6-9 months. -

Do as we say, don't do as we do. Irrespective of origin, that tan on RFK is a poster child for melanoma. -

Libel is written. Slander is spoken. If Gaetz is innocent, I would have thought a report saying so could not get made public fast enough. Who made you the arbiter of what can be posted? -
Lax Law Enforcement Cited for Alarming Road Fatalities in Thailand
Lacessit replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Police law enforcement is not lax, it's non-existent. The police function seems to be collecting fines on expired registrations and helmetless Thais at checkpoints, or on the occasionally functioning speed cameras. In 12 years of driving here, I have yet to see a police car or motorcycle actively pulling over a motorist. Getting off their @rses would be a good start. -

IMO sitting on a report is as good as saying he's guilty. -

Russia has 21% interest rates, 8.5% inflation. The ruble has lost about 17% against the dollar. India and China will only trade with it in their currencies. On paper, Russia's GDP looks great. Wartime economies do that, but also starve the consumer sector. The flight of Western capital and technology means Russia only has its home-grown scientists and engineers to keep the oil fields running. They are all retiring, without replacement, as the Russian education system collapsed in the mid-80's. After seeing how easily Russian armaments are getting obliterated in Ukraine, purchasers of their military equipment presumably have significant buyer's remorse. Russia also has a demographic crisis. The population is collapsing, and the meat grinder in Ukraine is not helping. Neither is the drain of able-bodied men leaving, to avoid being drafted. It's pretty obvious the sanctions and market losses are hurting Russia, irrespective of what bluster comes out of the Kremlin that it is not.

2 Yr Old Fino spluttering then stopping?
Lacessit replied to JeffersLos's topic in Motorcycles in Thailand
IMO 65,000 km is high mileage. I would be checking if the spark plug was oiling up, due to piston/cylinder wear. Changing the oil and spark plug won't fix it, if that is the case. A compression check might be worth doing. -

Stand on your weaker leg only for 30 seconds without losing your balance. That will tell you if you are old or not. -
