Surprised no reaction from BYD owners on this forum

Incorrect. ICE's will be around for another 30 years, minimum. My Vios is close to 20 years old. My mechanic claims it has another 5-10 years left. That means any reliable ICE sold today will still be around at the 30 year mark, and AFAIK the ICE market has not collapsed overnight. It is still 86% of market share in Thailand. Anyone who buys a secondhand ICE with 50,000 km on the odometer knows they can expect another 200,000 km before any major maintenance. With EV's, the track record is far less established. -
One candidate is a felon who incited an insurrection, stole $240 million from American taxpayers while playing golf in office, and is currently under indictment on 91 counts. Deemed by every senior member of his former staff to be unfit for office. Lost a defamation civil case, adjudicated to be a rapist by the presiding judge. Impeached twice. The other candidate stands accused of letting too many immigrants into the country. Or giggling too much. To me, it's an easy choice. But then, I am not American.

Down under or Thai? Aussie mum trades Oz for Land of Smiles

True. It still begs the question of why they would spend the money on property in Thailand, where they do not have either secure ownership or residence, rather than Sydney, where they do. -

You seem to have a bad case of SOL. Get back on your meds, please. -

Perhaps you recall the saying about a fool and his money. Something in the OP does not compute. They could not save enough for a house in Sydney, but can splash out the equivalent of AUD 1.2 million in Thailand? -
What's the point of staying silent when one of the candidates is utterly anti-science? Trying to deny climate change is not the result of anthropomorphic emissions of carbon dioxide since the Industrial revolution is akin to King Canute trying to hold back the tide. True, fossil fuels have given us our current standard of living. They have had their day, time to get on board with renewable energy. Basic thermodynamics says as we get hotter, storms become more violent. Have a chat to Floridians who just lived through Hurricane Helene.

27 million baht for a 4-bedroom house is way over the odds for a house in Thailand. Plenty of good houses for 5-10 million baht. The husband is 7 years away from qualifying for the OAP, and will have to spend two years in Oz to get it. That may not be a concern if they are self-funded. -

Homes under $1 million close to any of the capital cities are as rare as hens' teeth. A decent house could cost $2-3 million, particularly around Sydney. Foolish to be shelling out capital until they have rented for a few years. -
3 Things that will make your relationship successful in Thailand

I should have put a sarcasm alert in my post. Just because I read and respond to a poster does not mean I take them seriously. You might want to take note yourself. -
Trump has always been a racist, way back to the time he and his father excluded minorities from renting, and got sued by NYC. His followers are too stupid to see with any of such comments, he is pushing their buttons, and telling them what he knows they want to hear. America's real test will come on December 5, when voters can choose between sanity and chaos.

Valsartin is an angiotensin II receptor blocker, which works differently to a beta-blocker. AFAIK valsartan has zero effect in terms of psoriasis, although it may affect libido.

Could do with some support and advice here ?
Lacessit replied to The Cobra's topic in Marriage and Divorce
From experience, when a relationship is going sour it is futile to try and salvage it. The damage then becomes a source of resentment to the innocent party. The longer one stays, the greater the harm. Whose welfare is more important, yours or hers? Permit me to doubt you can persuade her to change. Having been in one marriage and a long-term defacto relationship where I was shouldering most of the work, my Thai GF is a refreshing, hard-working change. -

I fail all three criteria of the OP. While my GF does work part-time, she has a child and two grandchildren. She is 23 years younger than me. The relationship has been going well for about 14 years, what are we doing wrong? -
There is no real reason for your GF's libido to change. The desire for sex comes from hormone production levels - tying off the Fallopian tubes does nothing to interfere with that function. If anything, your GF may find sex more enjoyable without the concern of becoming pregnant. The long-term use of oral contraceptives does increase the risk of cervical cancer, blood clots and stroke. My GF's daughter has had her tubes tied, she is quite active sexually. Not with me, I'm too old for a rerun of "The Graduate".

Get a diagnosis done with an EKG and/or CAT scan with contrast, a cardiologist will then prescribe suitable medication. If the doctor prescribes beta-blockers to slow down the pulse rate, be aware these medications have side effects such as loss of libido, and psoriasis.
