I reckon why most expats have a weight problem in Thailand is boredom. You can see it looking through the AN threads, some guys are glued to the screen. You got to get out, exercise daily. Choose healthy foods only, you got to condition your body to only eat healthy. I like the occasional mars bar but get nauseous looking at all you can eat buffets etc. I can't even eat a 99 baht breakfast on Soi Buakhou, I can't stomach that crap.

Time to phone a friend. Plenty of Thai guys in Korat with a gun. Spend a few thousand baht for pest control, filthy animals invading properties. Point a gun to their head will see swift response.

I agree with you, I never have and never will pay COD, for convenience and protection I always pay with my kasikorn credit card. Over the many years I have been sent the wrong item and on a few occasions I have had to get the bank to help me. It's quite easy, I go into my local kasikorn branch fill out a form and a few weeks later my money is returned. On each occasion I have kept the wrong item I received at no charge, getting a full refund.

I regularly see loads of Cheap Charlie's out and about, so it must still be cheap.

Not just British, we have many psycho foreigners here in Pattaya, most nationalities.

I could be wrong, I just assumed because we have so many crazy foreigners here. I've had many conversations over the years from different members in Isaan and other areas of Thailand saying only good things about their foreigners in their region.

I reckon it's an exaggeration. Thai's don't discriminate if you are stupid you will get taught a lesson. I regularly read posts by members here complaining about Thai gangs attacking foreigners, I'm sure 99% of the time the foreigner was in the wrong, being drunk, foolish and stupid. Some idiots need to be taught a lesson. I'd like to see a gofundme page for these vigilante groups, I'd be a top contributor. So many times I read stories about people being a nuisance, annoying others, damaging private property and other crime, these disrespectful people need to be taught a lesson, it's obvious their parents failed....poor parenting.

COD, The driver won't release the item without receiving your money. So he shouldn't, it's not the drivers problem, he's just doing his job. Your friend should be more careful with his money, he's probably the same guy who orders stuff of Facebook then complains because he was sent a phoney item.

If you are going to be foolish on a bike as you say 'never get on a motorbike'. Ride sensibly and safely you'll be OK.

Road rage, why are people so angry on our roads. Every day I see an angry foreigner yelling out, blasting his horn aggressively at someone on the roads here in Pattaya. I give way to everyone, if it's safe to do so, everyone has right of way when I'm on the road. The Brit was probably angry because he was riding his 18 year old scooter. My Air Blade died about 12 years ago.

You need to exercise daily, treat it as a hobby, don't go in too hard but be consistent, daily exercise will change your life. While you are at it, get a bicycle, ride regularly, short trips, focus on the surroundings, the trees, mountains, you'll notice the difference, less ranting. Try not to be a menace, keep left, never be abusive to other road users........ Everyone has right of way, you're not in a hurry. 😎
