  1. I have Kasikorn and Bangkok Bank Apps. You don't need 5G. Just buy yourself any new phone, no need to spend alot of money. Have a look on lazada, search for shops with 4stars or more with good comments. Oppo, VIVO, realme, xiaomi all good phones, avoid Huawei, issues with Google. You can buy locally (Thailand) and they will deliver in a day or two. Avoid buying from China, long delivery times and other issues.
  2. Your comment reminds me of the Orchid Hotel (I'm sure that's the name) Mumbai. My company had us guys stay there the night before crew change. The hotel was next to the international Airport, the roof top bar was only a few hundred meters from the runway, it had top notch views (watching the planes take of and land), good music, atmosphere, and affordable drinks (Kingfisher beer) and a roof top swimming pool, it was something I looked forward to, bloody nice hotel. I heard that there were some changes, bar closure due to airport security risks.
  3. Yes, cheap drinks, but a view of New Plaza from the 1st floor level gets a little boring. Back in the day it had good views of the girls going to work......coconut bar and the bars on soi's 7&8. Like I said, you get what you pay for.
  4. You get what you pay for. There are a few apartment blocks around town with rooftop seating, you can buy your grog from 7-Eleven and enjoy the view. At times you'll get the occasional rat run down the drain pipe.
  5. Hilton hotel Pattaya D Varee Jomtien
  6. Don't leave home without it. So many happy ending Amulet stories. ????????????????????????????
  7. This writer 'Michael Bridge' often writes nonsense.
  8. Didn't they make a movie about similar. The guy in the movie had to cut his arm off to escape. Lucky German, the guy in the movie didn't have a smartphone. Technology, helping the incompetent to survive. This German should stick to walking the local shopping centers and the city parks.
  9. I reckon you're right. I get dirty looks when I pay for an item at Mini Big C with a 1000 baht note.
  10. I read they were chocolate elephant dolly's Looks like the captain is a happy chappy, he's into the chocolate elephants
  11. You sound like a quitter, you need someone who will push for change I'm outnumbered. I'm going to regroup, find some co-owners to go into battle with me. Trouble is most co-owners are Chinese and Russians.
  12. You are confused. It's poor policing to blame, not Thailand. The police aren't doing their job. It's not just traffic issues the police ignore all their tasks. At least they're consistent. In your comment you've outlined the problem but fail to see who/what is causing the problem.
  13. It can be but.....it's the same thing world over. If you're incompetent you shouldn't be riding a motorcycle in any country.
  14. Yes they do It's 5th for motorbikes 7th for cars
  15. Thailand is not to blame. It's the unqualified and unskilled users. Accountability. Why make this pointless comment?
  16. It's not alot of money. It's percentage of your registration fee only. I'd be more worried about your car going in storage and still being there when you return.
  17. It's a gamble. Lots of fakes on the market. Be very careful buying second hand. I'd never buy a used phone. Why don't you look at a new Xiaomi, Redmi, OPPO or VIVO, good phones at a good price. I thought it was only my wife that bought iPhone's these days.
  18. Nice shot, it would be nice to see the video. Police have only themselves to blame, the poor, pathetic job they do. I'm surprised that there are not more accidents involving the cops
  19. Didn't they ban baht buses from Buakaow a few years ago. ????
