It's also a pain travelling domestically. When staying in a Thai hotel I try to get my girlfriend to register, avoiding entering my details. If I'm forced to show my credentials it's back to Pattaya immigration to let them know I've returned. I reckon it's worthwhile coping the fine than visiting immigration after every trip.

Stop sending money. I know a few girls on Soi 6 who are receiving monthly payments from several guys abroad, they're making up to 100000 baht per month. You got to switch off now, take the loss, it's over. I worked with an American guy, from Louisiana (strange guy, not all there) in Angola, our rotation was 28 days, he was useless, sulking, sobbing, worried about his promiscuous soi 6 lady for his entire hitch. The rig can't survive having a man down all hitch.

I'm so sad, Thailand is changing. When I arrived 1998, working offshore the foreigners were worthy people, sadly today so many of them are nasty, horrible people. I've pointed this issue out in the past, Thai businesses are not as welcoming, friendly, they are starting to hate us now.

Or check VT6 which by most any measure is the best location in all of pattaya if you want convenience. It is a well built well run building and many people are paying top $$ to stay there especially in peak months. Like most any condo many units are highly upgraded by their owners while some are not so upgraded. Of course anyone can likely find a cheaper, newer place in Jomtien or Naklua or ? but you will not find a better location that literally is next door to central mall on one side, second road on one side, beachfront on the other side, and all of soi buahkow on the other side with baht buses on your front or back door steps. For some it is perhaps too busy but if you like convenience I have yet to see anyplace that can compete. Haters and whiners love to bash places that they know little to nothing about We weren't talking about VT6 but now that you have brought it up. I read about residents complaining regularly, saying the noise coming from the beach, many times throughout the year they set up stages along the beach front, bands playing loud music through the night and early hours. So BEST LOCATION,......... Nope.

The article says streetlights but would not surprise me if her bikes headlight was out, I see so many riding without headlight on. Sadly some would prefer to ride without headlight than spend 60 baht on a new bulb.
