With a name like that how could they not? I'm really surprised they are allowed to call the company that to be honest.

They are all self-serving creeps. They only want Boris the Bold because they think he has best chance of beating Creepy Corbyn. Pure populism comes first, country second.

In the case of airbnb, the tax is automatically collected on behalf of the local jurisdiction. The problem, however, is that airbnb isn't the only game in town. New websites similar to airbnb are popping up all the time, and there's no way they can all be regulated.
I know of one owner of a short-term rental house who dropped his airbnb listing in order to avoid regulation and taxation issues. He now rents out to his very narrow target demographic entirely though a French language Facebook page. When I checked into this situation, it seemed that he would be taxed as an annual percentage of the advertised rate, assuming 100% occupancy.
In this case, his annual taxes would have been several hundred thousand baht, which he avoided by going under the radar. Even I couldn't find his Facebook page, but he had no problem finding short-term tenants.
what? please research. You think airbnb pays taxes in Thailand? wow

My next holiday will involve a lot of airbnb stays and it seems in any popular location, the local gov't has instituted a tax on the owners which is passed along to the short term tenants.
How they would enforce this and how the extra tax funds would be used is anyone's guess.
It's illegal, period.

Oh now you want to go from 'You never said anything stupid at 16, Mr Perfect' to again try and insert more whataboutary.
Back to topic.

Sadly in a remainers mentality you can and a 3rd and 4th, forgetting about democracy and only content when they win. Sadly that's the way life seems t be for many things now.
You offend someone for the slightest thing, you can't criticise and you can't win a binary once in a lifetime referendum.
you think never a Scottish independence vote again? wow that's harsh - new voters are added in 100,000s yearly and it's been three years now

Well you kept that a secret, nobody would have guessed you were a remainer.
You can't have a "once in a lifetime" referendum twice, it just doesn't sense now does it.
Don't my MP's have more than one vote? perfectly ok, as Brexit has not happened, that we re-ask:
1/ leave on a no deal (if no deal is reached)
2/ stay

I've certainly said and done stupid things and suffered the consequences, as have many 16 year olds, but it's not about me or then is it.
Away with your whataboutary.
So you got accepted to a Uni after you said something stupid and then was rejected? wow! I do apologise Mr Perfect

What can I say about your last paragraph other than thank you for giving me such a laugh.
I rarely look at anybody's count and I have little interest in my own.
BTW are you stalking me?

Boris is funny and eccentric but I'm amazed anyone thinks he'll be a better leader than Hunt or outsider Stewart.

Right so a private university dismissing a student for racism is an attack on free speech.
Erm no.
Racism is founded on lies, used as a tool of oppression and a weapon of hatred.
The young man chose what to say and has suffered the consequences of his words. Words have consequences, and for once it is the racist who suffers the consequences of his words.
He was 16. You never said something stupid at 16 Mr Perfect?

You miss the point ENTIRELY he was accepted and so your point about applicants is not appropriate to this case. Your point could have been "how many are rejected AFTER acceptance" I bet it is very, very few.

You didn't even answer the comment I made.
Look. I like Clooney as an actor. I am against ALL athletes, actors and 'celebrities' using their fame to comment on stuff where their opinion is no better or worse than yours or mine. I could not care less if he loves or loathes Trump, Stalin or Micky Mouse. He is a VERY rich and fortunate actor but that's all he is. Should he run for election then fair enough. It's boring hearing 'celebrities' think their opinion is worth more than any other citizen, IMHO, in fact it's arrogance.
My opinion? this is a debating FORUM and we come here to make opinions on all sorts and my ratio of 'likes' is 3,500 for 1,700 posts (much better than yours) so someone must like my opinion lol.-
