  1. Is Thailand Still a Good Place to Spend Time if You're on a Fixed Budget? It really depends on how much your fixed income is. If it's only between $1000.00-2000.00 USD/mo, not so much unless, you want to live in a cheap old studio and live off 7-11 for the rest of your life. I think your'e chances are better living in Cambodia, Vietnam, PI's or Malaysia. Thailand is getting way too expensive.....
  2. Do you like heavy metal? Maybe in my music but not in my chocolate..... https://www.consumerreports.org/health/food-safety/lead-and-cadmium-in-dark-chocolate-a8480295550/
  3. I've never trusted Korean brands. I purchased a Hyundai when i was young and couldn't afford a comparable sized Toyota. Hyundai promoted a 10 year 100K warranty at the time. I had problems for the get go. The cars are cheaply made. They only look good in the beginning. When I had a major engine problem I was told the warranty didn't cover it! Total bait and switch. You're better off paying more for a good, high quality Japanese product. I have hardly had any problem with Japanese made products and if I did, the company would take care of the problem one way or another even if it wasn't under warranty. BUYER BEWARE!!!
  4. I am so desensitized by these accidents now, they're just way too common. It's like the first time I saw an amputee beggar in Bangkok, on his stomach, pushing a plate with his chin, he was filthy and wearing ragged clothing. I felt so sorry and bad for the person that I gave him a wad of $ but I started seeing him frequently at other places. A lot of things have changed in the LOS BUT a lot of things never change..........

  11. Now that a death of a government officials' family is involved (unlike all. the other fatalities involving regular citizens), the request for action to make the road safer may be heard.....
