I am amazed that the country with it's top ranked education and world class universities haven't been leading the world in the production of cancer medication for many years

Ooops, Thailand you say!  sorry forget my last...

Footnote: Thailand is perfectly adequate for copying the medical innovation's of academic work carried out at great expense by the worlds best scientists at the cutting edge of medicine, they are also good at making knock off Louis Vuitton handbags!!

It is perfectly legal to make generic copies. There is also a provision, TRIPS, in the WTO agreement for Thailand and other low income countries to produce generic copies of patented drugs where the Pharma industry has priced the drugs such as to inhibit access. It is illegal to export drugs made under TRIPS.

The Pharma industry spends way more on marketing their drugs with huge sales forces that they spend on research. I worked in Pharma for what it is, a filthy industry that has minimal regard for patients and total focus on profits for shareholders. The poor of the world need to unite against these morally bankrupt multinational ba$tards

If not married to a Thai then currently no way.

If he is married to (or parent of) a Thai, he will have to show proof of health insurance, a negative COVID test 72 hours or less before departure, take a special flight arranged by the Embassy (for which there may be a long wait)  and undergo 14 days quarantine on arrival in an approved facility at his own expense (40k on up).

Sheryl, my Thai partner is in Japan and wants to return to Thailand at the end of October. I understand from reading TV over the last few days that she does not need a COVID test, that she must quarantine for 14 days in a government facility.

Will she need to be on a repatriation flight? Or can she fly on a JAL flight for which she has a return ticket?

    Thanks

  3. Before driving a Ranger you need to learn to drive like a totally-entitled d1ck, learn to think you own the road, and that every other road user has no rights to be even be on the road.

I bought Ford here once....never again....really bad re-sale value, <deleted> gearbox that needed recall, electrical issues that caused a small fire in one off the headlamps, and worst of all cheating service people.
