    You beat me to it, I was wondering how much a police escort costs, is it some private enterprise, the other day one was escorting a school bus, that caused an accident.

    I agree, unclear how long the delay was for, but that could cause someone to miss a flight for example.

    I have no Idea what the 'hallmark channel' is, I guess it's an American thing. So you don't wish your dad had been more proactive, I wish my dad had been, but he was always working.

    Seems many posters can't read, it was a BUS transporting the workers, NOT the Pick Up.

    A kid growing up with an old parent who will be considered as exactly that, Old and out of touch with the real world, IMO it's not fair on the child, will you have the energy to run around and play say footy with it, in a few years ?, then the possibility that you will die when the child is still young, it's just not fair IMO on the child.
