    Not quite up to date. If you return to permanent residence (not just on a visit home) your NHS cover is effective immediately. Nor do I think the '9 months ' is correct How does a hospital/doctor know if you have been out of the UK ? unless you tell them. Asking for a friend.

    Heathrow UK there are no departure cards no queuing at immigration to leave, the airline just scan the boarding pass at the gate as you board.
