TM30 - Blue Ink?
problemfarang replied to stephen tracy's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
i dont know but probably this kind of posts i have read is like.. more than 5 now in 1 year... and when i read these kind of post im just surprise more and more... and cannot understand why. now there are points we all really get angry to immigration.. or something like this. personally speaking in some complains i agree and in most i dont. now this blue link or blue color pen thing is one of the things i cannot understand why people need to complain about.. well the first question comes into my mind is why this is so important to ask about this... i mean just use a bloody blue pen! is it so difficult to do so?! second is.. if they want you to use blue color.. so what... use it?! again is it too difficult to use a blue color pen?! i mean people are talking about pen color.. color printer copy... dude, just print and use blue color.. OR just go there and use blue color.. i mean seriously whats so difficult about this.. or so complicated to complain about this or looking for other ways... -

color copies are not accepted. easy to see the difference between copy and wet pen writing or wet signature. -

Travel in another city
problemfarang replied to Jack1988's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
80% of the hotels will ask your passport or thai driving license. only small 450 baht hotels will not bother asking you. Thai driving license is the key here. -

Driving lisence renewal - walk in's avaliable?
problemfarang replied to azt219's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
I did mine for 5 years in april. didnt book. walk in. But i watched the 1 hour video online and kept the QR code it gave me. went there at 7.30 they started to take in people who has bookings. So i would say i waited around 2 hours for my turn. When you enter the door tell or show the QR code to the lady sitting on the right (giving queue numbers) that means you watched the video. So they will give you a different queue number (i think white color) to skip watching the video. they will take i think 550 or 505 baht. cannot remember. i waited my turn probably another 30-40min. Did 3 tests about color, reflects, eyes. Took my photo and waited another 20min. All done so no need booking but if not you will wait probably 3-4 hours to do all. went there 7.30 done around 11:45 video you need to watch: https://www.dlt.go.th/en/renew-license/ https://www.dlt-elearning.com/forignerhome you can find it in here but you need to register -

yes you can just take the termination letter and the work permit with you to the labor office. it will take 15 min to do all. -
Work Permit, and Visa Cancellation!
problemfarang replied to mrtpp's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
first of all you need a termination letter from your employer. then go to the immigration and tell them you are done with your work. they will ask you your termination letter. bare in mind that the date on your termination letter is your last day in thailand. because it also cancel your visa.. probably non-b.. immigration will tell you that you have 24 hours to leave thailand right after you tell them and show them the termination letter. im not sure you can ask them 7 days for 2000 baht or not. you have 2 options here.. 1) you talk with your new job and prepare all the documents for your visa. if they can do that you dont need to leave the country.. you can do everything in the same day. 2) if the new job cannot provide you with the documents you need to leave the country when you cancel your work. i strongly advice you that to prepare your tax documents for your next work permit.. thats the first thing they will ask you when you want to expend your visa when you get the new work -
khon kaen.. chang wattana.. nakhon sawan.. sri racha... pattaya... nan... loei... mukdahan... im sorry cannot remember the rest 50 i wonder which clawn IO you are talking about accepts black ink if you work in some business you would also know that black is not accepted on many documents when you sign them only in some situations tho. so.. your opinion doesnt make its true just because you think so or you were lucky 1 or 2 times. and i dont think i attended a rogue IO jsut because they are doing their job

Hi I have a friend from Azerbaijan. He is doing some kind of work between there and thailand. His office pays all the expenses. The problem is everytime he enters thailand with a tourist visa. Before it was not a problem for him but he told me now its becoming a problem. He wants to get elite visa or any other similar visa which will help him for entering thailand without any problem. He wants to know how to get and the needed documents or any info about elit visa or any other visa. Obviously Ed visa is not an option plus its not the right visa type. Thanks
