  1. I am suggesting that it could be the cause of his problems.
  2. Not in UK, Nationwide to Wise GBP account is free and fast. Convert to THB when the rate is good, and send it when you need it. My monthly transfer of THB 40,000 has gone up by less than a quid.
  3. So you are using a 10 year old version of W10 with no security updates? I use W11 updated regularly, and I have sound on You Tube, Instagram, and news feeds just like you do.
  4. Have you ever heard of punctuation. Your post is very difficult to read.
  5. I have both Wise and Revolut, both work seemlessly when spending abroad. Just did a Dubai/Bahrain trip and everything was tappy tappy on my Wise card. Wise is good for transfers if you need it to show as Intenational for Immigration purposes.
  6. It's one where, according to Baby Reindeer, one gets one's 'curtains hanged"
  7. Why not get LED WiFi RGB bulbs, about Bht 100 on Lazada. Then control power, brightness and colour from your PC or phone.
  8. For a recent air journey, I bought a memory foam cushion from Lazada for Bht 250. Worked wonders. I now use it on my office chair, and also when driving. I have a happy bum!

Did he really spell it like that? Or are you as usual, taking the pi55?
  10. My Mrs and the DiL use the aircon much more than I do.
  11. Just about to do Dubai trip. Air Asia from Phitsanulok to DMK is 20kg allowed/paid for. Emirates to DXB, 25kg. Crazy. What can I buy which weighs 5kg at BKK to put in my case? 555
  12. Our meter is usually read on 17th of each month. PEA were giving discount if the usage was less than 300 units per month. A couple of months ago my consumption was 296 on the morning of the 17th, but they did not read it until 18th, so over 300 we went, hence no discount. Boo hoo.
  13. Emirates Cabin Baggage Cabin baggage allowances on an Emirates flight will depend on your fare: Economy: customers are permitted one piece of carry-on baggage, either a handbag or laptop bag, that may not exceed 55 x 38 x 20cm and must weigh no more than 7kg / 15 lbs. I seem to remember that at one point, British Airways allowed 23kg of cabin baggage. Lift that into the overhead lockers, eh? https://www.skyscanner.net/news/cabin-luggage-guide-hand-baggage-sizes-and-weight-restrictions. Look at this Mr Frog.
  14. So TWO items of cabin luggage. Naughty naughty.
  15. Must be the most stupid statement of the day. Thanks.
  16. And those who suggest that it was all made by a God are also indoctrinated. Still we'll never know. It's where it's all going to end which matters more.
  17. How would I do that please. How can I pass say 20 amps constantly for a time thru my breaker? And what would I then know?
  18. How many homes run on 440 volts?
  19. Most çontrol circuits' run on DC, as in your telly, computer etc etc. The 'power'part is still AC as you say. I doubt whether the DC is çonverted back' to AC to run the compressor.
  20. For how long? A few seconds? My 12000 BTU Mitsu Normal usually takes just over a kilowatt when running. Does that mean SEVEN kilowatts to start up without tripping a 20 amp breaker.
  21. So you will have to keep the 400k in the bank for 12 months until you have transferred 12 x 40k = 480k. At least you can spend the 40k each month.
  22. 27 is 27 whether in or outside.
  23. So where do you think the Universe and all of us in it, come from please?
