  1. Only certain routers allow VPNs to be installed directly on them according to Express. Is the family member taking your router to China?
  2. Not HHD......SSD ! I doubt whether you can do anything with the 64GB Flash drive as it will be soldered to the Mobo.
  3. Why ANYONE with an iota of tech knowledge would buy something like this, with only 64GB Flash and 4GB RAM for Bht 14900 is beyond me. I just upgraded my Step daughter's Acer C22 AIO with an M2 256 GB drive , leaving the !GB WD HDD for data, 8 GB RAM and a clean W11 install. It's like Max Verstappen is driving it. Cost from Invade for M2 & RAM Bht 1725.
  4. Are you saying that a W11 laptop with say 500GB SSD, 8GB RAM, i5 CPU will be faster than an AIO with exactly the same hardware?
  5. Where is the hassle in giving a vendor a Bht1000 (the only 'large' note available) and getting change in 100s?
  6. NOT FREE. Included in the price.
  7. And are wonderful for making home-made vino. Sorry Brian , you got there before me. 3kg berries mashed in food processor, 9 litres water, 3kg sugar, squeeze of lemon, packet of Wine yeast. Two weeks, strain & rack off, a further two weeks, into old beer bottles and crown capped. Leave for 6 months IF YOU CAN !
  8. How boring. What about muesli & plain yoghurt & dried fruit for a couple of those days, or porridge oats, or a couple of bananas in a smoothie using drinking yoghurt. And poached, boiled, omeletted eggs for a couple of days.
  9. So what's good for the other six breakfasts please?
  10. Not quite in the same league, but just got back from Nauresan Hospital near Phitsanulok. Had a blocked ear. Up to ENT Dept, 10 minutes wait, young male doctor checked ears, nose & throat, cleaned my ears, about 30 minutes all in all. Bht 250. Happy bunny, who can now hear properly. Went there last month for annual check up, ECG, full bloods incl PSA, chest X ray, consultation. Bht 1750!
  11. So are you going to sit watching your monitor all day?
  12. I go for checkup every 6 months. At 75 they still can't find much wrong with me, but still take my dosh ! 555
  13. A lot can start to go wrong in two years. I would advise every 6 months for over 70s and yearly if over 65.
  14. 19 units does seem a lot for just one a/c, and of course your fridge, telly, PC etc etc. And 8 Bht per unit is against the law, they can only charge what the PEA charges them. But as said in another post, pay less for electricity and the rent will go up. I have an app called ECAS and I read my meter (electric & water) every morning as I must pass them to take doggy for his doo doo. Keep an accurate record of what you use. There is a PEA app also into which you can enter your consumption, and it will estimate what your bill should be. Hope this helps.
  15. Please omit 'on the beach' and it may make a bit more sense.
  16. That should get the Grammar Police going. 555
  17. How many '72 hours' are there in one week?
  18. How long have you lived in Thailand. A member here for 9 years. Why do you need to ask this?
  19. It is. But if electricity goes down, you rent goes UP!
  20. So that was NOT going direct? What was Key Visa cost please?
  21. Does it not only apply if you have UK residence? They will send your new PP to a UK address, but not to here.
  22. Can one apply 'directly' from Thailand? If so , how please.
  23. So you think that non-English speakers will be able to read and understand the small subtitles scrolling quickly at the bottom of the screen. I doubt it.
