    And I always thought, as you don't, that an IDP IS required to drive on a foreign licence for three months. After that you need to get a Thai licence. Your questionable memories are therefore WRONG.

    How difficult is it to count 89 days after you arrive in the country, put it on your whiteboard, or a piece of paper in your wallet/passport. And remember that you have a week before and after to do it. And it can be done online.
