Er thanks .... I think! All the info is in Thai. So far cannot find what range it has or how long the battery lasts? (Needs to be the type that connects to the car battery).
Have you got one of these yourself?

When it comes to the point of needing air purifiers, it is time to leave.

Hmmm thinks.... Anyone know where I can buy a GPS tracking device? Then if the car gets stolen at least I can track it down, presumably with an iphone.
Lazada is your friend "car tracking device"; from 42 baht on up.
Thanks, but on lookiing into this, so far I find they have limited range and / or battery power. I need something more professional...... A tracker that works long distance, can be followed on a iphone map and continues to function for at least 3 months.... Suggestions anyone?
(Yikes! If Lady Roadrunner ever finds out about trackers it will curtail my short time visits.)

Though he is not exactly skint, I hope he finds out what life is like in the real world that the rest of us struggle to survive in.

Only 10,000 baht? They might turn you away at the border as you are obviously not one of the rich billionaire Indians or Chinese. .... Thailand no want cheap charlie Farangs no more.
You have not been here for a while, things have gotten expensive, unless you are not planning on having much fun? I could easily blow 10,000 in one day.

Taking a Thai out of Thailand is often like trying to take a fish out of water, they don't do too well. Compared to which your story is one of success. Congratulations! I would not complain if I were you!
Furthermore, she is correct, the Govt is <deleted>. Plus the pollution not good for the health. Thailand is not what it used to be, why come back?

And so the engine took revenge for Somchai's bad driving and lack of maintenance.

It clearly shows the teacher striking the student and calling her a bitch.
Despite solid evidence, this being Thailand, nothing will be done. I suspect if the teacher had been a Farang, there would have been a totally different reaction.

The Tantrics had a similar explanation about sex and for having prostitutes in Indian temples.
The above seems reasonable to me.
As for the Thais... proof that money and religion are not a good mix.

and you find that odd ?
Compare the Thais to the people of Hong Kong recently.

Now even Phuket, usually one of the cleaner air places, is affected. Anyone know where it's coming from?

A bit off topic but: I wish they would do the same with their poxy government
Thais will have a go at that bus driver, but it was explained to me they would think twice about taking on the Govt as they are phu yais (big shots).

As I understand it, the law on rentals changed last May to allow a tenant to break a lease with 30 days notice providing they had a genuine reason (which you appear to have). The law was changed to prevent Landlords abusing Tenants.
You should also read your contract and see where you stand there.
As for reporting you to Immigration:- Renting a property is not an Immigration matter.

Let Harry have his wish, so long as he no longer sponges off the British tax payer as the rest of the royals do.

Does not matter which bank issued it, if it has VISA or Mastercard on it then it should be valid worldwide. I do wonder about the reasoning behind the bank not putting your name on it? My SCB VISA Debit Card has no name, but I guess the imbeded chip identifies it as mine.

Just an excuse to get himself a new BMW.
His car is not so smart as it will only catch a tiny percentage of illegals.
The long border is obviously porous and impossible to police. Vietnamese come in on a tourist visa and stay as long as they like. Then just walk back over the border.
I recall watching the Cambodians crossing the border under a bridge, like ants, carrying smuggled goods. Either end of the bridge were Thai and Cambodian immigration, oblivious to all going on below.

I think Thai Immigration should track down this obviously ill-educated, Thai-shaming farang wannabe internet influencer, fine her and deport her for sullying and defaming the nation's reputation.
So you gonna rat on her?

What if I import an engine to change the one in a car already registered here in Thailand ? Nobody will ever know ? or can i have problems with insurance ? thank you.
If you swap the engine you will need a receipt showing where you purchased it, with the engine number written on it. Show this to DLT and all is well.
The big question here is, how are you going to get it through Customs?

It's also possible this is not an international school but a top Thai school.
Certainly. If it were an international school they would not be keeping the name secret.

Synthetic costs a lot more but is worth it. Normal oil molecular structure breaks down in time under heat and load. Synthetic does not and so protects better. Make sure you get the correct grade for your application as per owners manual. Do not forget to change the filter as well.
