A restraining order. Well... that'll show them who's boss.
Educate yourself Rambo. The guy inside could be a big mean dude so after you back down you will then need to follow the law through the courts

Now I’m thinking it’s probably better not to stay in Pattaya for 1 whole month if I don’t have the money to spend on prostitutes, it’s time to go back to my old ways, exploring Thailand and staying in cheap hostels. Places I haven’t been to yet - Ayutthaya, Chiang Rai, Udon Thani, Koh Phangan, Phuket, Hua Hin, Krabi. Ok it being rain season I probably will avoid Phuket and Krabi but maybe I’ll take the chance. Sometimes with all these Thai vloggers on YouTube posting Thai women hooker videos it’s hard to imagine going to Thailand and not focusing your trip on trying have sex, but if you avoid those videos and the whole bar girl Thai hookers worlds to d then you realise there is more to life. Problem is I can go into states of feeling low or depression due to a pelvic problem, and that will make me make bad decisions for myself (girls, sex, porn, alcohol) let’s hope I can have a nice vacation anyway.
Good idea. I'm usually over Pattaya after 2 weeks especially because its a hard drinking culture and I dont want to see another bargirl for at least a month!
Travelling around thailand there are always a few beer bars with girls even in smaller towns so you wont go lonely

Send everything including all copies. This is the best system as there is no 24 hours. When I sent mine in for my tenants I sometimes send it in a week or 10 days late and always got a receipt back no fines

When I first came here the number one thing people were telling me was: Don't trust expats.
Kind of sad but my experience now after 10 years sadly, pretty much confirms this.
A recent "friend" said he cannot qualify for the new rules and asked me to loan him 800, 000 b..
Sorry bucko no can do bye bye.
I pretty much stick to golf for any socializing. Four hours and head home.
Strange. Whats the big deal here about not trusting expats? Assuming you have one or two very close friends then the rest are usually acquaintances or just the bloke at the bar your having a chat with.
Met more con artists in the west than I ever met here. Expats here are pretty laid back, have a chat in a bar and then go home.
I find those that hide in a Thai ghetto because they hate expats are usually just anti social and not received well by others and thats a fact!

And since then me paying for her food and studies. Yes I might be stupid in front of most people. But I was just trying to save a girl. But if I cannot get thai visa from the embassy I will move her to my country for studies.

Its bad enough to deal with these issues, but motorcyclists take the buscuit with their carelessness towards others, unfortunately motorcyclists on the sidewalk / pavement have become so common that they ride with a sense of entitlement that when we are in their way they get angry, yet those in positions of decision making power do nothing.
I hope the injured is compensated healthily, by the motorcyclist and the government who have done nothing to resolve this issue. I hope the motorcyclist is fined strongly to send a message out to other motorcyclists that this is not acceptable behavior, however, I expect to just see the usual wai and 500b fine.
Compensation from a 19 year old thai? dream on

I drink Siamsato half soda half sato with a splash of lime over ice...Love it! the soda takes the sweetness away so its like a bubbly white wine.
I even stopped drinking beer at home and now sato only. 35 baht a big bottle. Perfect sparkling wine replacement when adding soda water

That is what - 70 units of alcohol a day. How long did he keep that up for, his insides must have been destroyed.
And I twitch a bit if I go over 35 units a week. Mentally twitch that is, not physically.
The liver is an extremely powerful organ I was a chronic drinker from 18 to 40 and at my worst 35-40. Even alcohol withdrawal seizures trying to stop, so bit the bullet and got blood tests and liver was in normal range !!

would you do that to someone who has convincingly told you your numbers about to be called in ?
Im no squatter but if I was and have no intent of giving it up I would call the police while they were still there. I assume they threatened death which is a very serious matter the guy might even be able to get a restraining order.

Nothing a baseball bat wouldn't solve. Unless he's on the will, move the **** out.
Something very similar happened to a relative - he was in poor health and lonely, and a much younger guy basically hooked up with him for the money - took his credit cards and was shopping tens of thousands of USD a month. When he finally died (RIP) the guy refused to leave the apartment until other relatives threatened bodily harm (and were convincing about it).
Say what you will about bar girls - at least they move out when you do, lol...
lucky he didn't report the threats to police and them charged.

BUT I see HOW THIS FORUM operates. The few old bitter members who like to bash on EVERY new member that comes.
I have seen how some of you guys call every new member a troll or make fun of them on countless threads.
I will stop contributing and spending so many hours here a day. Will just be a regular poster not starting interesting topics to KEEP THIS FORUM engaged.
Very disappointed in some of you older members that contribute nothing but spam posts. I only come here for the smart older educated and experienced members to read what they have to say.

I live on Chaweng Mountain and many of the villas/houses are rented daily/weekly/monthly on Airbnb. The few of us who live here all year have to put up with loud parties until 6:00 am, idiots parking in our driveway, and motorcycles roaring up and down the mountain at all hours. Are the police just being paid off or is there anything I can do?
Pay off the BIB. no other way

The elephant in the room is why would the killer leave the zip Thais on? but its not hard to zip tie your hands behind your back. No knots to Tie. Just push your head through the noose and jump. Maybe he wanted his wife to get set up for it...or maybe not
