The solution of the Philippines for the revival of tourism, I find a good solution. Not unnecessarily long quarantine times

Except that only applies to a few countries (Australia, New Zealand) diplomats and overseas workers.  Also visa on arrival is suspended.  No bars open yet, at least where I live.  Some  dien in restaurants open with contact information demanded. Who knows next week.

  2. It is a shame that Thai bank branches are treated almost like separate companies.

I am currently in the Philippines and it is even worse.  The banks are the same way but so are phone carriers.  You have to pay anytime you call a different carrier's number. Most businesses have multiple phone numbers.  One for each carrier.

  3. I am currently not int Thailand but I would like to be able to have some items delivered in Thailand from Thailand.  I have a Thai Lazada account but I cannot create a new addressee because my old Thai phone number does not exist any more.  I cannot create a Thai Shopee account again because of the need for a Thai phone number.  I can use Amazon but that becomes expensive for small items.

    Any ideas?

Surely if one of us "aliens" has a lease on a condo for one or more years, that should be proof that's where we intend to stay for the duration of the contract. Hence a 90 day report is superfluous. Same with someone living in a house in their Thai wife's name.

The simple solution would be that if you permanently leave your registered (via TM6 or TM30) place of residence you would be required to report your new residence within a specified period of time.  Such as 14 days or 30 days.  Don't do it and there would be some sort of penalty.  The requirement could be printed on the TM6 and TM30 forms so there would be no excuse for not knowing.

  5. I have had nightmares on a few occasions even with big name couriers.  I got notices from DHL and UPS that packages were in customs.  None of them were expensive with none of them over 500 baht.  I lived in Chiang Mai.  The notices were in horrible English but each one said a couple of things that forced me to abandon the items.  They first wanted me to send a copy of my passport and later to actually send the passport to them in Bangkok.  I was not willing to send my passport so they requested that I fly to Bangkok with my passport.  They also wanted me to go to the local customs office and fill out a form of some kind which I have forgotten the name of. Other packages would just fly through.

There is no way to return the packages the only options were to go to them or abandon.  In both cases, they offered no help and talking to them on the phone was useless.

I started using Amazon which charges a customs fee and takes care of all the customs paper work.  After the package is deliver, which is very fast, they refund and customs duties that were unused.

  6. For the last three days, your ads just spin and never appear which also slows down the entire page load.  I am using windows and I have tried Chrome, Edge, and Firefox with no improvement. I cannot find any ad blocker enabled and certainly not in the last three days.  However, I can use the Brave browser, which is a privacy browser based on Chrome.  No other web sites are affected.

Might just be me but probably worth looking into.
