    Me too. I have topped up my elder card three times, at 500 baht per time, since the new rule/new card came into effect. I asked the cashier about it and she said no problem. They have received no instructions about foreigners using or topping up the old elder card, only that the new discounted card is available only to Thais.

    I am surprised, because officers working out of the Thonglor police station have a reputation for integrity and proper behavior. They live to protect and serve the citizens of their district and are prime examples of all that is decent and good about the Thai police force. That said, I am sure justice will be appropriately served in this matter and such an aberration will never happen again.

    Assuming you are using Chrome. It may have added an extension to your Chrome browser. Go to the three dots in the top right corner, then extensions, then check for any McAfee or any other unknown extensions and delete or disable them.

    As above, go to your apps list and uninstall anything that says McAfee.

    Under Thai law, the new owner must honor your contract with the previous owner. However, things can get complicated of course. Why not discuss it with your current owner?

    The American people have spoken and they elected a man and his minions with absolutely no interest in even attempting to fix the health insurance problem. The problem of course is that the only solution, the solution every other developed country has accepted, involves government power and control and that is simply unacceptable.

    I am curious to hear any experiences with being tested/treated for low testosterone in Bangkok. At 65, I am wondering if it might be useful. Any recommended clinics/hospitals? I would like to find a legitimate place and am interested in quality care at a reasonable price.

    45 years ago I worked in the oil fields in West Texas out of Odessa as a lowly rig hand and I remember well the pickup trucks selling cantaloupe on the side of the road at 5 for a dollar. Sweet and juicy. Just amazing how good they were! I also remember buying a can of Beanee Weenie and a loaf of Wonder bread and putting them on the dashboard of the truck to get them warm for lunch. But that is another story for another time...
