Don't see the point to rag on this. I will admit that all the walen posts/ads are a bit annoying, but I'm not forced to buy their product, use their services, or even read their threads. There is a market for expats wanting to learn dance, you can see that on salsa dance nights at second floor. Filling a need etc etc, if their services were truly horrid, they wouldn't still be in business. I am serious about the swing, if they offer it, I'll try it out, if it's enjoyable, they'll get my money.

I might actually be interested if there was a decent swing dance class.
Swing is way more fun than street, and I'd rather be dancing with a 1930's pinup over a modern day beyonce.

I visited home in April so I bought it there.
But, I did see some silvers for sale at a shop here in CM, if I remember correctly, they were about 2,000B more than they were in the US.
If you pick one up, look up Wasabi batteries, they are better, longer lasting and 1/2 the price of the official ones. After all was said and done I think i dropped $480 on the camera, 2 wasabi batteries, an extra mount, and a 32gb card.
DO NOT BUY A SANDISK CARD FOR THE HERO 3 they cause or have caused a ton of errors in the cameras.
My GF is up this weekend visiting from BKK, we might head out to Nan, if not this weekend, the next. I hope to take video.
I have it mounted on top of my helmet, as I could not mount it on the side without wither having the helmet in shot or having so many kinks and knobs that I was worried that the wind would rip it off.

Had friends study in Germany, Australia, Us, Uk, Canada, and New Zealand.
My girlfriend studied in Italy for her Italian undergrad and Sweden for her MA in fashion design.

Picked up a Hero 3 Black and a few extra batteries, haven't tried it out yet.

Test drove my Ninja (private party) with 33% down and my passport on the condition that, I break it, I bought it. When I sell it, I will hold the same conditions.
Gotta protect yourself and I think any reasonable person would agree to such conditions.

A Forza is about as much as a used ER6-N
For Bang for buck, the PCX or a used CBR250 would be a great deal

Divorced, so I will give a then and now.
Then:
Highly respected, taken care of, invited over frequently for home cooked meals, family events and the such. Always introduced to others as their son in law, never referenced as "the farang", farang may have been used to describe my ethnicity, but that's it. Money was never asked from me, was told that sin sod was an out dated idea and they only cared that I could take care of their daughter. I did pay for the wedding, but they gave elsewhere and paid their own way when visiting us in the US.
Now:
Nothing much has changed, was told how sorry they were that we were divorced and that I was always their son. I still see them out, still get invited over for dinner. I have a very amicable relationship with my Ex, there was no messy divorce or money grabbing (granted we had no children and this makes everything infinity easier) But we still hang out once in awhile.
So, I have had a very positive experience with family in Thailand. Therefore, I tend to take all these warnings with a grain of salt. I firmly believe you marry the family as well, so you had better consider it a package deal.
With my new girlfriend, it is not as tight as my ex, but they are still very respective of me etc etc. I don't believe I could stand for being part of a family that wasn't.

Music, motorcycles, cars, art (painting, sculpting, metalwork, drawing, and other crafts), politics, religion, travel, food, sports, history, architecture, exercise, conservation, meditation, movies, relationships, family, business, education, fashion design and textiles, and a myriad of other topics are what I talk about with my Thai friends and my girlfriend. The problem is lumping an entire population into one category based on a poor sampling.

I would love to get myself a cub, planning on selling my dream and getting one as a DD. Slap on a modified Honda nice engine, cut the back fender, put on a larger rear, drop it flush, remove he front shields or slice em down, and swap out the handle bars.

Sadly informing the Somchais in brown that if the kid died his spirit would come back to haunt them would have made them more likely to let you help rather than informing them the proper proceedure.
Bunch of ignorant <deleted> in this country, but there are many who know what to do and when to do it.

I was told no.
I was leaving for Nepal on 20/3, back in on 28/3 and back out to the US on 30/3 and back in on 22/4
I had to buy a multiple, a pain in the ass since my Visa is up at the end of the month, and therefore my multiple reentry is as well.
I plan on leaving about 5 more time before March 2014, if the reentry visa lasted a year, it would have been a good deal...

My friend Jirawong teaches pottery, there are a few people on here who have learned from him.

Hmm, yeah I thought about the 6'4 thing after I posted, you would fit, but alone. and that could be boring.... The boost would be quite a large one, though I haven't seen any dynos yet.
Even though I hate the PCX, with your size and a passenger, it really may be the best choice for you. Unless you picked up a used CBR250r etc.
-
PCX is big like a whale. I honestly dislike riding a fully auto.
125cc honda Wave for cheap bikes, but at 27 and looking at the price of a PCX I would get the Honda MSX125, hell they have 200cc kits for them already. They have a full clutch or semi auto like the wave.

If it's a commonly tuned vehicle, using a canned tune is fine.
I got a handheld for my mustang in the states, listed my mods. They gave me an email with the file, I connected it via USB, uploaded the tunes and then transferred them to my mustang. 30mins and I had gained quite a few extra ponies (had headers back and a bump to 89octane) and a higher redline. One of the best mods ever, and any future mods I would email them and they would send me a new tune.

you dont even need to knock down KSK, just renovate the inside. The location is great and that dirt parking lot in the back near HK residence can become a future MRT stop (hey, If I can dream about a massive reno, why not push the dream a bit?).

The fun part of the blue eyes is that it's really just the fact that the color brown is absent and the structure of the iris is making it appear blue, rayleigh scattering etc.

Entertaining thread, would read again.

Partington already covered what i came to say.
Thai's with Blue eyes are just using contacts.

I just looked at the time post of the OP after seeing a few banned names....
As for prices, prices are wonky. A LEGAL SR400 will cost more than a legal virago 750 or CB750. I see the later two for 80-130,000k quite often. Your CB400 prices are right on though.

I bought a Honda Nice to scavange for the engine, brakes, and a few other pieces to build one of my Chalys. I bought it off a guy but the bike was registered to a lady, however I have the paperwork with her info, signatures, and copies of her ID's included. Is it something like my situation?
(I stripped the bike before transferring my name and now only have a pile of parts in the corner to show the tax people, so no transferring haha)

I have no qualms about dropping 180-250B down on a good beer or cider, and I am a teacher
189B is in line with many craft beers offered at specialty bars throughout the city.

I was going to see it, GF saw it when I was visiting home and said the only funny parts were in the trailer and it was normal brain dead humor, so I skipped it.
However, since my name is Mark and I am from the US, reciting the line about name pronunciation continues to get big laughs from Thais...

I agree with Dave, on many other forums I am much more open about who I am, post pics of myself etc etc. But I feel here it's just too risky as some people have too much free time and too much negativity and are willing to try to make people's lives full of trouble. No specific names, but just a general lack of community. Which is funny since I have met many wonderful expats in real life here. Oh well, I will just continue on as always.
