Yes just another example of this type of mentality. A person doesn’t like something another person does. So the resolution is to get rid of them. Take their life. I’m not saying this sort of thing doesn’t happen in other countries. Of course it does. But from the news articles posted here and on television. It happens here too many times.

The unprotected sex thing makes sense in a way. So many women I have spoken to in the past on dating sites here. Have children but never been married. -
Covid latest: Thailand prepares to donate vaccine to six needy countries
swm59nj replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Sure donate it to other countries. While they barely can take care of themselves -
So it was just a person that looks after patients? So in Thailand any type of person can be hired to look after patients in a hospital? Not even have an official job title , just a person? I’m guessing the person had a medical reason to be there, and not housekeeping. And it would be difficult not to bring valuables to a hospital for an unplanned visit or stay in an emergency situation.

When a person has a medical condition of course anything is possible. Some people recover. And unfortunately some people don’t. Just common sense. -
Causes of the pain after temporary crown put in?
swm59nj replied to Lim Yuan Hai's topic in Health and Medicine
I had a crown put in many years ago in the states by a dentist I have seen for a number of years. No issues. But as we all know anything can happen. I would think the dentist would know by X-rays and exam . Being able to judge if a crown is sufficient, or needing root canal. Before advising just a crown. My personal advice. Research a good dentist in your area. and get a second opinion ASAP.. You don’t want to wait too long and risk infection and more complications. -
Question for American Expats on Medicare.
swm59nj replied to FarmerJoe's topic in Health and Medicine
I’m 66 years old , retired at 62. I’m from the states, living in Bangkok a little over two years now. Part of the decision depends on you. If you plan to live in Thailand for ever, then you don’t need B. If you do don’t plan to live here take B. But you never know what the future might bring. Because if you don’t you will be paying a high ongoing late penalty. I didn’t plan to live overseas forever. So I took B to avoid any future penalties. I carried over my health plan from my previous job. It covers me anywhere overseas and domestically . Also since I pay for Part B now, but can’t use it overseas. As of age 65 my health plan pays any medical expenses 100%. And all copays are waived. I pay $ 250 usd per month deducted from my monthly pension payment for the insurance plan. That is for a single person. Plus of course the charge for Part B deducted from Social Security. When I eventually move back to USA. Medicare becomes my primary coverage at 80%. My health insurance then covers me at 20%. Also my health plan requires me to have part B for coverage in the states at age 65. -
MRNA booster better for those with two AstraZeneca jabs
swm59nj replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
There have been different medical articles from different countries. They say that the booster should be from an MRNA vaccine -
It’s a homemade wooden flat exercise bench. I’m surprised it doesn’t hurt the back lol. It’s actually a piece of junk. The message he is sending is keep off the bench. If the guy has mental health issues and thinks it’s his. Let him have it. At least he’s just exercising. He’s not out robbing, stealing, or hurting anyone. At least that people know of.

Will Western tourists ever go off visiting Thailand?

I’m sure the usual Cheap Charlie’s will still take the risk to move or visit. -
Just endorses the mentality even more. Poor little girl gets bitten by dogs that have bitten before. People that have gotten bitten gets rabies vaccine, so that makes everything ok. But since the dogs have attacked the little girl. They want the dogs taken away now. These dogs should have been taken away a long time ago. Dog’s owner says dogs are good dogs . But they have bitten in the past. How ignorant is that. If the poor little girl was injured fatally. Probably would say dogs are good. Get a wai. And maybe a few hundred baht damages. Ignorance at its best.

Bangkok to Designate Special Lanes for Motorcycles

I’m wondering how all those scooters are going to be able to stay in that one lane. I say scooters because they are not really motorcycles. -

I had 2 AZ and 2 PF. When do I need a booster?
swm59nj replied to pauleddy's topic in COVID-19 Coronavirus
There really in no specific time frame on booster. Just really speculation. Right now they are saying you should wait six to nine months to get boosters. I received two Sinovac June and July of last year with a four week span. Against my better judgment. Then in mid August I managed to get a booster of Pfizer. I took it based on the recommendation of one of my doctors. Because of the low protection rate of Sinovac. This week I wil get a booster of Moderna which I paid for ,since it has been six months. My doctor said to hold off with any more boosters after this. So I will see what is the going medical opinion six to nine months after that.
