I wanted to go but its my wife's birthday Sunday and we are having a party here in CM.

Anyone tried the brewed beer in Tawandang <sp>?

I'm usually a LEO man when at home, but everything tastes like p*ss after a night at Tawandang..takes about 3 Singhas before they begin to taste palatable.

Recommend the white beer especially!

I am thinking of relocating to Ramkamhaeng (roughly soi 112), and wonder if anyone knows of other transport options to Thong Lo, other than the ones below...

It's definitely a true story, I have had the pleasure of meeting the farang in question, and was in the building the same evening when his friends were recounting the story (he wasn't there at the time).

It was a complete and utter mess up from start to finish but some great guys. I had fun, the fights where great and I was smashed out of my scull by the end of the night.

Also what I though was cool was the rear naked choke I got from behind when I was p1ssed and sitting down from a guy standing up behind me.

happened to me loads of times, usually in the sticks, i think they learn such phrases from comics or video games and don't really fully understand the offense they might cause to some.

I just laugh and leave em to it.

It seems there is a lot of interest in Muay Thai, Self defense, MMA, and various other martial arts here in Thailand, how about having a dedicated subforum?

Could be used to discuss any aspects, from where to watch events, to recommending schools, where to buy equipment, etc etc.

Hey, I love fishing, but I think if fishing deserves a subforum, then so does martial arts!
