How about the Union Jack flag:

I had British navigator and he took his time to glue his flag so it was "correct way".

    Looked same to me!

Does it have "up" and "down" side?

Yes, the wider diagonal white stripe is above the red one in the upper quadrant nearest the flagpole.  Flying it upside down is a signal you are in distress, and (hopefully) not noticed except by your fellow countrymen who will come to your aid.

Historically, it was only called the Union Jack only on naval ships, but it's an accepted name for all uses now.

If so, do they have national football team? A national flag? I don't think so but I may be wrong.

The Union Flag comprising of the crosses of St. George, St, Andrew and St. Patrick.

UK National sports' teams compete in the Olympics and similar competitions, although there's always discussions about how to structure a football team as the different governing bodies can never agree, and don't want to dilute the position of their own country in the game at large.

Actually they advised yesterday in an email they now have that ability - you select Thai Baht and go through a one time verification process and use local banking app QR code.  I have no need to use so have not tried - and may not be good option if already departed Thailand (using local banking app).

i'm still seeing this if I try to select baht in the "You send" box.

I have read in this forum that it is possible to change Mor Prom details wen you get a new passport. Indeed, I think I already did that, but as they recently updated the app, it has reverted to my old passport number.

When I go to the Mor Prom LINE page it only shows my non-Thai ID number, and no facility to change the (blank) passport section.

When I go to the app the Personal Information it shows my User ID (vax ID), but no way of adding my passport, and only suggests going to a "MohPrompt Station".

Is there anyway to update online?

Send an email (maybe include scans of passports) to [email protected] with your request.

Include your full name as shown in Mor Phrom, Date of Birth and Vaccine ID number.

This worked for me when there was a typo in my passport number in May last year.

    Acronyms

    NWA .. NorthWest Airlines

    DL ... Delta Airlines

DTW ... Detroit airport (Detroit Metropolitan Airport located in Wayne County)

One abbreviation. One Airline IATA Code and one Airport IATA Code.

Acronyms are also abbreviations but can be pronounced as a word like NASA, NATO etc.

I used Wise January 5th to transfer $2000 US to my Bangkok Bank account.  It took several hours to get into my account.  It was coded as an international funds transfer.  The same for. $1500 US transfer back in December.  I code it as general living funds (or something similar, I can’t remember the exact wording)

Yes, if you transfer 50,000 THB or more it also appears to go the slower route no matter the reason selected.

So are you saying that you are satisfied with slow service?

Some people are prepared to accept the slower service as funds transferred this way gives them the international transfer designation on the transaction which is required for those obtaining a visa extension using the monthly income route.

The instant transfers show as a local transaction, not international.

Booking this fake ticket thing online is fraught with risk. Airline software systems are now interconnected with the travel industry's big 3: Amadeus, Galileo and Sabre. A ticket has a confirmation code on it. Querying it will reveal the PNR and booking status- even if a different carrier issued the ticket. And depending on the mood of the check in agent, it's either a simple sorry i can't find your PNR on the system or a walkie talkie call to someone who might end up putting you in hot water.

You obviously don't know how they work as Amadeus, Galileo etc will all show a valid booking.  Refunding a proportion of tickets is built into an airline's operating costs and these agency tickets have been in use for years so no surprises to anyone.

You don't need OTP to make transfers.

You only need it once when you install the app on your phone.

Just returned from a trip abroad where I used my Thai banking apps to pay rent, bills etc. No OTP, no roaming and no issues. I have no idea why so many people are posting about sms, roaming etc. You don't need it.

You do if you want to set up new recipients for transfers and some other features.
