  1. I live out in the sticks and believe me they are overpriced. This is due to seeing a farang and knowing it's expected farangs to get charged more. Just finished my treatment yesterday and I'm pretty P'd off with the service I got.

  7. My understanding is they do not. It's use is suspended by the courts. Use it before the suspension comes into effect and............................ So it's unlikely his passport was suspended.

  13. In the likes of rural Thailand mental problems are seen to be caused as being possessed by bad spirits. It used to be, might be still, that the family would take the possessed person to a temple and have the monks literally beat the spirits out of the possessed person. Not long after I came here in 2005 there was a case in the newspaper where the monks beat a young woman so badly that she was hospitalized due to the injuries the monks inflicted on her. Police became involved but I don't recall how the event ended.

  15. How can there be honest statistics when the Thai government does not provide mental heath treatment for non adults. Only way to get treatment for the young is privately as far as I'm aware. Meaning many people go untreated until they reach adulthood.
  16. How'd they come up with the statistics being as they do not treat youths at government psychiatric hospitals in Thailand. Only place for antidepressants to be obtained is privately. My observation come from the Korat area.
