    I'm sure that on this forum a senior police officer was quoted as saying a photocopy of a passport is an acceptable form of ID.

    2,000 Baht fine for not producing your passport when requested. You then have to way up the price of a replacement if you lose it.

    Can anyone give me a breakdown on costings, and profit, of cassava farming per year please. Cost of land does not needed to be included. I'm a firm believer in that cassava is not as profitable as some, especially Thai women, make out. I'm actually making this enquiry on behalf of a farang who raised the question with me. Thanks.

    I asked a farang yesterday what he would do if he was unable to use an agent in Thailand. He said he'd have to do his a trip to to the Philippines every year. I didn't understand how that works.????

    Do your homework. Mandela served his jail term. Thaksin hasn't to date. He was finally released from prison in 1990 after over 27 years of unbroken incarceration. Eighteen of those years were spent on Robben Island. Following Nelson Mandela's sentencing on 7 November 1962 the Pretoria Magistrates Court issued a warrant committing him to prison for five years.

    Irrespective. He is a convicted criminal. If he was/Is innocent then why did he flee Thailand by skipping bail? Aug 2008 he went on his own accord.

    There used to be a gay Thai who lived in the village and who lived with his widowed mother and he had a German boyfriend. The German boyfriend used to stay here on a Marriage Extension. The German got around the laws by legally marrying his boyfriend's mother. They all lived in the same house never a problem immigration none the wiser.

    Being as we have 3 children we have to show them in the photo of us at our property. Only problem being is that all 3 children do not live in the same abode. My eldest daughter lives in BKK but we are not asked as to say if our children live with us. Therefore what is the point of having to declare them up to the age of 20 ???????? All a load of Horlicks.
