Pattaya Hotel Staff, Swedish Tourist Report Thief Using CCTV
Dan O replied to webfact's topic in Pattaya News
Insurance companies here will often end up paying a thai for the accident when a foreigner is involved and "judged" to be at fault. I've had it happen twice, both times the thai ran into me. Even one when the officer drew a picture of the scene with notes from witness showing the thai was at fault. Mysteriously when the report was written between the insurance agent (key here as the insurance company only sees their report) and the police I was listed at fault but not charged. -
I think my statement was accurate so maybe its you then that has no purpose and is stupid if you cant comprehend 2 significant points in a simple point. Where my words to big? I will give you a participation medal for at least trying as you probably expect that.

Hahahaha nice try. He was invited in to discussion in error and no one on the email chain disputes that fact. It has nothing to do with "anti-trumpers" its because, someone was stupid and wasn't being careful and they were using an unauthorized service to discuss strike plans. They should all be fired.

Nice try but go back and try again.

You care to show how you think it wasn't classified?
-
You are clueless or stupid arent you. Its not just about inviting someone accidently to the email chain. They were having a discussion on a non secure, unauthorized service discussing classified strategic information about an upcoming air strike devulging dates and times.

Not sure who your talk to but I have a number of European and Nordic friends and they all say the same thing, Trump is an f'n idiot. He's ruining alliances and can't be repaired easily and destroying global supply chains with his tariffs. Not one supports anything he's doing and they say everyone back in their countries feel the same. They are all very nervous about his thinking and friendship with Putin because he's being played for the fool he is.
-
And what position does he hold and what is he responsible to do in his position?

Nope but not wasting my time on someone too lazy to read facts when they are posted or that constantly makes excuses on why facts are not facts. Do you fall in that group too since you decided to jump in here? Read the news much do you ? The OP wouldn't have asked the question if there was no reason to ask.

Thai Restaurant Industry Faces Crisis as Purchases Plummet by 40%
Dan O replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
My experience is most Thai shops last about 3 to 6 months. They spend a lot to get them up and running but most have no experience in running a restaurant, managing budgets, supply cost and cash flow. They price the dishes based on what everyone else is doing without an understanding of the market or their cost structure. They buy larger orders for supplies to get a discount and then end up with lots of supplies but no cash flow to pay bills. They are popular for about 3 months as a "new" place and then sales drop off and they aren't prepared to weather the slow down or adjust to whats happening. Small coffee shops are a dime a dozen and usually a franchise deal and they too have no real experience. They jump into it because they see the other shops close by and think I can do that. Then gone when they have no cash flow left. Amazon is a strong competitor for coffee just like Starbucks in the USA but its poorly roasted coffee which Thais seem to love the stronger bitter flavor. Its generally an easy draw for them as they mostly position themselves at Gas Stations with 7-11's so there is always traffic coming into the space for other things. They pay poorly and dont take care of the staff but are always busy. -

McDonald's makes most of its money from Franchise Fees and Real Estate rentals of stores. They sell some direct but the bulk of sales comes from Franchises not owned stores. Franchises pay the cost of operation not MacD's so it more impacting on the Franchisees than MacD -

Nice try but not lefties at all but anarchist fighting for "their cause". There's a difference and they can have any party affiliation but typically don't as they are outside the established norms. -

Actually I changed my prices in January after reviewing every dish on the menu, re-costing each individually and then compared a\ new price with the monthly sales. I increased the ones that where way out of line and lowered a few things. I removed none selling items and reintroduced the Chef to portion control as she had gotten a bit lazy. Fortunately for us we are a niche Cafe', not a noodle shop or typical Thai restaurant, and our clientele are middle income professionals, so it hasn't really affected the sales side negatively when I did that. It's definitely slower compared to a year or more ago, but we are doing ok. -

There are in most areas I have been in here. If you sell a food product and have customers you are almost guaranteed to have 2 or 3 other shops open up with the exact same thing within eyesight. There are poor money managers in many instances and dont manage cash flow well at all and dont plan ahead for the changing environment
