  1. Not sure what your trying to say. I said the exact same thing. If your passport shows your Thai address and you have to provide copies of your stamps which show your in Thailand you cant use the e-visa system. If you can show your not in thaand thats different. Visa runs have nothing to do with evisa system
  2. I already said I've never seen any passport with an address on it and stand corrected. TheE-visa site apparently has now changed and allow applications while not in Passport country, so I stand corrected on that as well. But the OP can not apply on E-visa site if his passport does show he's living in Thailand. Thats clearly spelled out on the E-visa Site that you can not apply while in Thailand.
  3. read the whole regs again you left out half of what it says. A passport and in this case the Identity card is a validation of citizenship and gives you the right to "legal abode" meaning they are required to let you enter and live in that country. Legal residence is where you live currently.
  4. Havent you posted about issues with your GF before and throwing her kids out of the house. Then you were in love with here and then you wanted to father a child be another women to continue your blood line and gf was ok with it? Did I hallucinate those posts, they did say LSD would do that back in the 60's and 70's.
  5. The police may not have issued any ticket or charge since there is a written confession and insurance covered the damages but without all the documents its hard to tell. There are several advocacy groups on Facebook that you can post your situation on as they are monitored by various govt agencies and seem to generate action to prevent a bad image of the country. If you use one just be careful of your wording due to defamation laws.
  6. Never seen any passport with an address issued so this is news and I stand corrected. Its obviously a newer version of the passport. so in this instance the OP probably wont be able to use the e-visa system.
  7. The e-visa system requires you to apply in your home country. You arent "allowed" to apply on the e-visa system in your home country while living in a different country. Passports dont typically have an address issue on them other than a page you write your contact info yourself. The e-visa system request you provide evidence of your residence, meaning where you live. A phone bill, bank statement, utility bill, drivers license, etc that shows the address where you live. For some reason the UK site accepts a copy of your data page from your passport but that isn't actually what they are asking for and officially does not prove where you reside it just proves your a citizen of that country. They also require you to provide copies of all the passport stamps for the prior year.
  8. Stop smoking and learn to read, they were separate statements. No one you quoted was a doctor nor are you so you shouldnt be presenting yourself as someone with accurate knowledge because you have none
  9. Last time I checked msnbc, Biden and a number of news outlet talking heads said a variety of false statements. They aren't doctors and were paid to sensationalize anything they could, especially fox news and trump and his trumpettes. They got there doctor degrees from Google just like you. Did you try taking bleach, disinfectants internally or sticking an up light down your throat as trump suggested?
  10. Look into doing a Swift Wire Transfer from your home bank to your Thai bank. It goes direct, is always coded correctly showing origin bank and acct and receiving bank and account. It goes direct bank to bank with no internal domestic transfers as some wise transfers are. The cost is a bit more but headaches are minimized.
  11. I think it may be more a reflection of how you talk to and treat people, especially women. Gossip gets around and your the one putting it out there.
  12. By the looks of the whole outstanding balance hasnt cleared completely and finished posting. Of the 512K deposited 481K is available now and the remainder will clear probably in a day or so. It's very common in the USA to not have a full deposit available until a day or so afterward and I suspect thats whats going on here. Call the bank if your worried
  13. Stop back pedaling Bob. You seem to be related to the tge Swiss guy in the story, if not by blood by lack of mentality
  14. Thats not a spine Bob its a stick up your butt.
  15. What a ridiculous comment to make. And you wonder why people view you the way the do.
  16. Its up to you to inspect the property and determine its appropriate or not. If you don't and proceed with the purchase or lease that's on you
  17. While you think you did everything by the book and it appears you did thats from perspective. What happened to you is normal in many countries, including here. Coming in on a multi entry visa , using it up and then doing an exempt entry can have the appearance of someone gaming the system and trying to live in the country but not using a correct long stay visa. Imm Officers are not stupid and they are doing exactly what they are suppose to do, question you to their satisfaction that you are truly doing what you said you were and not bs a story. Believe it that Imm Officers have heard a million stories on a regular basis from countless "tourist". That would happen in most countries as well and few countries are as lenient on visitors as Thailand. Too many foreigners game the system and then when questioned or stopped cry foul or rogue imm officer. You weren't almost denied entry you were question about your intentions and then let in.
  18. Seems you haven't paid much attention to what he's been doing and only focusing on a preconceived notion. Its a large world with many players and you have to deal with all of them, like it or not.
  19. There's a polite and correct way of approaching this situation and asking to speak to the supervisor to get clarification of the proper documents and a wrong way. You seem to be focused on the wrong way. The whole mystique of losing face is lost on many foreigners as ever situation doesn't have to result in "losing face" , if you even really know what that means.
  20. Not sure where your seeing that retirees are leaving in any significant amount. Covid had an impact but that was a one off situation. All countries have immigration laws and also allow for the officers to use their discretion. Very few countries are as lenient about tourist visitors making repetitive visits and extensions as Thailand does. Bringing the wife is a good idea for interpreting but if you think that arguing with an imm officer is smart then I question your thinking.
  21. Why didn't you ask to speak to the head imm officer? Problem would have easily been solved.
  22. When did Phuket establish a good image of the area that has now been tarnished?
