Then buy appliances and shower heads that do what you want, they are available. For a trump to sign an Executive Order for something like this shows how utterly stupid he is and what a joke he's making of the position of the President. He's just a disgrace to the office

Dont reply to other people's posts with comments and ask questions if you're not going to be prepared for the same. Follow your own advice or dont comment. I have no problem replying but the question was to you and you're just deflecting and avoiding because you have nothing.

The question was to you but you have no reply I see. Not surprising

And how would you categorize the trump fanclub that post nonstop everyday on the forum here?
-
Would you be able to explain and list the multiple successful careers across multiple areas he's had? That will be interesting reading. Dont forget to include how many companies he's bankrupted, how many loans he's defaulted on, how many charities he's cheated, how many housing violations he's had on decriminalization, how many employees he's stiffed on pay, how many woman he's abused, how many times his dad bailed him out and how much money the "self made billionaire" got from his family and thats just the tip of the iceberg before he decided to run for office.

That's the stupidist argument I've heard today.
-
That only works if there are US mfr making exportable goods the world wants at a price they can afford. Today's service economy in the US doesn't support that scenario very well and it will take quite a long time, if ever to rebuild the infrastructure in mfr to think about being competitive on the global stage. The cost of labor alone in the US is prohibitive to global mfr.

Thats because he's just a troll trying to stir up replies and then he has no facts or substance to support his delusional position so claims screeching and whining from posters. He isnt worth replying to anymore as he hasn't got the intellect to discuss the replies that he solicits.

Conveniently leaving out the fact that the ruling stipulated that the individuals must be notified and given due process in front of a judge first. That was the defect in the original deportation made by trumps admin and caused the original stay being placed by Boasberg.

That was a really nice try Perry Mason but you failed. Copy and pasting from Kristi Noem's filing is not a court ruling but I give you credit for at least attempting to make your argument. He was given the right to stay and not to be deported to El Salvador in his case in 2019. That is a legal right as he was not removed to a 3rd country or held in detention. He was released with an Ice Supervision Notice. No other court case was heard before he was deported revoking that right granted in 2019, correct? He was in fact illegally deported to El Salvador by the trump admin and they admitted such in the court case before the Supreme Court which was against the judges ruling in Oct 2019 was he not? You can claim "admin error" but in fact it was illegal until ruled otherwise in court not in your head or with your word salad. Again the admins own lawyers admitted that in the Supreme Court Case! You can claim DHS could deport him to a 3rd country after a hearing but he was not now was he? Did the Supreme Court rule yesterday it was a legal deportation and to leave him there without redress or put a stay in place on the return date while they rule LEGALLY what is the correct action. End of story. You have a nice day

You really are special arent you. He had legal status to stay in the US per the presiding judge in his case. The judge also ruled he could not be deported. That did not grant him citizenship nor did I say it did. He was legally allowed to be in the US until ruled otherwise. That never happened now did it? The ICE Order of Supervision is a tracking document like being on probation and having to report routinely. It does not mean he was here illegally. The deportation is being characterized as an "administration error" but in actuality it was illegal deportation and the lawyers for the admin admitted that in court. They are arguing that they dont want to agree to taking back anyone deported legally or otherwise. If they agree to return him it sets a precedence for all future cases and may create a loop hole the trump admin cant close. The Supreme Court agreed and put a stay on his return will they debate the issue of what to do LEGALLY. That does not mean they agree he was in the US without a legal standing. Check you google law degree as it might have expired

No i think you proved you own point when you posted this topic.

News flash, when we geared up for world War II we had a manufacturing base in place already. Today we don't have that we are a service based economy. We gave that up in the 70's and 80' in place of expanded corporate profits for using offshore mfr due to tax issues and then as a follow on importation of cheap products. So yeah it would take about a decade to recover that full scale mfr base and infrastructure. I've never said we don't need to deal with the problems of the US but there's a smart way to do that with proper planning and execution. And then there's the utterly stupid, burn everything to the ground all at the same time and hope for the best to please a narcissistic megalomaniac that doesn't care of the impact to anyone as he's no in the same position as 95% of the US or world population
-
You and many others here act as if you can just stop imports and open a spigot and manufacturing will magically appear. Do you realize the lack of manufacturing capacity and infrastructure in the US don't you? How long do you think that it would take to gear up more capacity to be able to produce products? What do you think the cost for products would be and the impact on inflation as a result? Its easy to say just do this but in actuality it would be more than a decade to get completely off the ground

No it actually relates to a legal alien that was deported in error. They admit it was an error but they are arguing they have no responsibility to repatriate anyone removed to a foreign country or black site. This action couple with the recently used Alien Enemies Act to deport anyone deemed an Alien Enemy being argued in other cases creates a scary scenario where anyone can be tagged as an enemy and there will be no due process in court. The group deported already were never proven to be connected to any gangs. While many probably were gang members there were a number that very well may not have been and they admitted that already
-
Its from the legal argument presented to the Supreme Court yesterday. It stems from the deportation order under the Aliens Enemies Act used earlier this year and the deportation of a legal alien which they admit was an error. Trumps admin is arguing that they can tag anyone as an illegal alien or terrorist and not have to prove it in court in other the other connected case. In this Supreme Court Case they are claiming once removed to a black site or foreign country they are not legally required to repatriate that person. Facts just keep getting in the way of many on this forum.

I believe the word is very accurate in the context of what is outlined by trump and his admin. If you have a better word that's accurate feel free to use it but you need to ask yourself how honest you are being about what's really going on and the massive impact trump's craziness is having on the US and the inflation, world economics, global supply chains, foreign relations, human rights, and world governmental power structures. Do you have any moral character and compass, or do you truly not care? Ask yourself
