  1. Seems trump got a set back in his deportation plans. Extraction from the Miami Herald article below: A federal judge in Texas ruled on Thursday that the Trump administration cannot use an 18th Century law — meant to be deployed against members of a hostile foreign nation during a declared war or military invasion — as a basis to deport undocumented immigrants in the U.S. who supposedly belong to a violent Venezuelan gang known as Tren de Aragua. The judge’s ruling permanently prohibits the Department of Homeland Security from removing immigrants detained under the 1798 Alien Enemies Act in the Southern District of Texas, which includes Houston. His decision represents a major setback for the Trump administration’s effort to deport suspected members of the Venezuelan gang under the archaic law to a notorious mega prison in El Salvador. U.S. District Judge Fernando Rodriguez Jr. found that the “plain ordinary meaning” of the act’s language, like “invasion” and “predatory incursion” by “military forces,” does not jibe with President Donald Trump’s claims about the activities of Tren de Aragua in a March 14 proclamation invoking the Alien Enemies Act. Trump declared that gang members must be booted out of the country because they were “conducting irregular warfare” against the United States at the direction of Venezuela’s leader, Nicolas Maduro.
  2. Nope its different. Seems Zelensky got a lot of what he wanted in the deal. trump will declare it was all him but thats highly questionable. Here's the breakdown from the internet: The mineral deal signed yesterday between the U.S. and Ukraine establishes the United States-Ukraine Reconstruction Investment Fund, which allows the U.S. to invest in Ukraine’s mineral resources and natural assets2. Unlike the earlier agreements, this deal ensures joint management and co-ownership of the fund, with neither side holding a dominant vote. Additionally, 50% of all revenue from new Ukrainian oil, gas, and mineral licenses will go toward the fund. Another key difference is that this agreement is framed as a long-term strategic alignment rather than a security guarantee. The previous proposals included language requiring Ukraine to reimburse the U.S. for wartime military assistance, but that provision was removed in this final version3.
  3. well since trump would love to send convicted US citizens there as a convicted felon maybe he should get in line and show how its done.
  4. Can you show us where you got your information about phony numbers. A link would be helpful.
  5. Thats the sound a defeated trumpette makes when they have no other defense against facts and truth
  6. It wasn't just a result of reduced spending. As for the reduced spending , that didn't happen in a vacuum did it? There was a major contributor to cause reduced spending. Perhaps your google degree in economics has lapsed
  7. Nice try at deflecting. I said the major issues started in 2014 but yes things were going on with Russia well before that, and not just there but in a number of regions. If you want we can go back to before 1991 when Ukraine was split off of SSR. I was addressing your comments you and Frank posted claiming I thought it all started in 2022.
  8. Hahaha old claims and misleading statement. The donbas issue go back to before 2014 but escalated then because russia was supporting the separatist to fight in Ukraine. Nothing wrong with them wanting more protection given that russia invaded Crimea and was signalling more land grabs coming. The peace talks were a joke and would not have changed anything
  9. You need to check your statements for truth and not project you ignorance to blame others. The major problems and conflict in donbas started around 2014 with Russian back separatists fighting against Ukraine. It continued off and on before the 2022 invasion. That was not the catalyst for the invasion by any means. There are others reason for Russian invasion that had nothing to do with anything other than Russia seeing an opportunity to take more land over
  10. How did he have a choice to avoid Russia invading his country?
  11. Stretching trying to make a fact from a unsupported claim
  12. Commitments for investments that started before trump but announced under trump
  13. I never disputed the intent but they are not invested until they occur. 1.4 trillion over 10 years is not 1.4 trillion invested. Unless you use Trump math this year as stated. Present the information correctly for what it is.
  14. We have a Cafe' and food ingredient cost are up about 20% in the last year and still going up. Eggs were 104 last week, on Monday they were 106, yesterday 116 and 120 today
  15. Nope I stand by my news sources and they aren't yours. Future commitments and agreements are not investments they are just intentions and can be changed or altered. Check how the stories are worded and how you present them.
  16. Commitments and agreements are not investments, especially over a number of years
  17. Can you show us the "trillions of dollars of foreign investments" please. It would be good reading.
  18. Biden did what every other president has done in support a Allie. Trump is the odd ball in trying to turn support into a business deal. He's truly a scumbag in every sense of the word
  19. Well Trump actually did say that didn't he?
  20. Posting facts upsets you doesnt it?
  21. I see you cant post any proof as usual, just spout your off-base comments and deflect
  22. Why don't you post your supposed "facts" with links so we can read them.
