What about E85? Readily available thru out Issan, not seen it in the South. Even cheaper than E20.
That e85 krap isn't sold around here. Up in Muang Phitsanulok a PTT was flogging it a while ago but I don't know if it still does. Gasahol 91 or 95 is bad enough. Several years ago I bought a backpack weedwacker and that Gasahol 91 buggered the fuel delivery line, I replaced it and before long I had to replace it again. Then I put a silicon line on it and it wouldn't run right. I'd get it running and use a tank of mix, stop to fill the tank and it just wouldn't start again till it was dead cold. Had 2 small engine guys look at it but they were no help for whatever reason. Took it out again and discovered the silicon fuel line was leaking. I put it on the shelf in the shed and that's were it has stayed for the last 5 years. I don't want fuel leaking and someone to get badly burned....it maybe me! I see a lot of problems with these donkey fart fuels.

Some of you don't know what a burden it is when your parents are rich, I can understand this kids plight. For my 18th my parents bought me a Mini Cooper S. I honestly thought I had dropped enough hints that I wanted an XY Falcon GTHO...... All he wanted was a Nissan Skyline GTR...but no, mummy and daddy go right behind his back and buy this Porsche that has trouble staying on the road when you go around a corner. I can visualise the traumatic encounter when the parents arrive at the hospital. With tears in his eyes he professes his love for them and then tells them he doesn't feel loved by them in return. He cries "All I wanted was a plain old Nissan Skyline GTR but you don't want me to be happy" ...more tears. What's a bet there will be a Skyline GTR in the driveway tomorrow???

What became of this guy and case? We know the rich are impervious, but how about this employee (just following orders, ya think?)
Most likely buried under several tons of concrete by now at a construction site. Myanmar concreters saw nothing and say nothing...if they know whats good for them! ????

Red Bull is a huge company who makes a lot of profit, and I'm sure this case will make little difference to their bottom line. But at the end of the day, businesses don't run merely to make a profit. Companies like red bull run to make maximum profit. As much as they possibly can.
The fact Red Bull felt the need to do this is a huge loss of face to the Yoovidhya family. Never underestimate the importance of face.
Distancing is a bit difficult when most of the board has the name Yoovidhya!

Here's another crazy idea. Issue an international warrant for his arrest. Have him sent back to Thailand for trial. Absolutely throw the book at and him and make him pay a huge amount of compensation to the family of the bereaved.
Going to prison and paying compensation aren't mutually exclusive. The deal shouldn't be brokered by a corrupt police force who are just looking for their cut. People with no real standing shouldn't be forced to accept something or nothing. A competent judge/s should be calculating based on the circumstances of each case how much money should be paid. All money going to the victim's family and zero to a third party.
Are you confusing competency with honesty? I think one can be highly competent and still make bad decisions that maybe based on incorrect information or outright lies.

How nice, removing a product that people need and replacing it with a product that hasn't proved popular especially with small engine users. Your wonderful government working to suit itself.

Neither, I was a locomotive engine man for 16 years with the Victorian Railways nee Vline so I know a bit about the subject. The xing at Hwy 2043 Wang Krot is one of the worst. The dam gates come dowN even when the Northbound pass stops at the station which is a kilometre South from the crossing.

Thailand itself is aiming to be “the world’s kitchen”
Really! Well Makro and Co will need to carry a lot more MSG, Salt and Sugar to fill the demand. Maybe saying 'the world's unhealthiest food producer' would be more to the point.

What peeved me to a high degree is the closing of crossing gates so long before the dam train arrives at the crossing. I don't know a lot about this mythical beast for travel to Chiang Mai but one would hope there is grade separation all the way. A fully loaded passenger train travelling at 160kph ramming a stalled semi truck at a crossing is not a pretty picture.

It would have been better to ask what not to invest in! Factor in your age, experience (if any) and most importantly how willing your partner is to get behind you with whatever you decide.....together.
Farming in Thailand is not the best way to make your fortune.... Remember the old quote "If you want to make a small fortune in LOS....you start off with a big fortune first."
That being said, the way to making money is vertical factory farming. Cannot afford doing it myself but anyone with money and the will could make a decent living if they choose the right location and the right products. The reason I like it is you have total control over the growing environment. The quality of the air, water and growing matter, the temperature and light. Reduced or eliminated insect pests is a big plus.

My M-in-L was in a similar situation. About 70 metres from the hwy, electricity and town water. The people between the land and the road wouldn't play ball with an access agreement. She ended up selling to the people on the other side for 30K/rai.

It's probably something Prayut and Co don't want to hear but the fact is Thaksin is still loved and revered by millions in the rural areas if comments I have heard are anything to go by. He was betrayed, stabbed in the back and treated very badly so they say. Is there going to be a Red shirt awakening?

I think it is a smart move. If they want to garner support from older generations they have to look like they are peace loving...even if the truth is something else. Not that I am saying there is anything sinister just that sooner or later they will come to the realisation soft toys are no match for 7.62 mm projectiles.

Im not an expert on cars but surely with with such advance technology the experts can check what speed the car was doing at the time of impact?
A lot of modern cars have the computer power and memory to keep quite a bit of information....but you don't think that information in that particular Ferrari was still there when the cops had a look. Or maybe it was, and downloaded to a stick and the computer was then fried. ????

So now the truth is being heard. Your wife owns all the land around the block in question! So arranging with a lawyer for a access clause and a track in are nothing harder than a visit to the lawyer.
I've been through that area several times and how anyone could seriously be asking 800k/rai is amazing to me! Even with a couple of dams a bore pump, electricity, main road frontage and fertile soil it seems like a stretch.
